Loudene Kendrick – October 16, 2011
Loudene Kendrick, 77, of Vega, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Llano Cemetery with Dr. G.A. Roach officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mrs. Kendrick was born February 20, 1934 in Sayre, OK to Fred and Opal Hill. She taught school in Adrian in the 60's and then moved to Vega and taught there for some years. She worked for the Dept. of Human Services for twenty years and retired to Vega for the last five years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Hill.
Survivors include her daughter, Jorji Krahn and husband Doug of Vega; granddaughter, Kellie Krahn of Amarillo; grandson, Kristopher Krahn of Vega; and twin sister, Francene Hanson of Amarillo.
Randall Scott Rogers – October 15, 2011
Randall Scott Rogers, 41, of Amarillo, died Saturday, October 15, 2011.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Hillside Christian Church. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount.
Randall was born on July 4, 1970 in Amarillo. He graduated from Amarillo High School. Randall was a veteran of the United States Navy. He had worked in sales for the Vincit Group.
He married Tiffany Rodie on October 6, 2007 in Amarillo.
He loved his wife, daughters, the outdoors, hunting, fishing and softball.
He is survived by his wife, Tiffany; three daughters, Taylor Rogers, Tessa Rogers and Riley Rogers; his parents, Donna and Van Miller; his father, Scott Rogers and wife Vin; and two grandmothers, Nelda Bennett and Georgia Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Randall Rogers Family Fund, c/o Amarillo National Bank.

BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. McPhillips was born June 14, 1918 in Hutchinson County, Texas, to Clayton and Sallie B. Mathis. She married John J. McPhillips, Sr., on August 26, 1959 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1997. She was a retired nurse. She was a 55-year Endow Member and Past Worthy Matron of the Top O? Texas Chapter #1064 Order of the Eastern Star in Pampa. She was an Honoree Life Member of the Elks Lodge, and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Conroe. She served in many offices and participated in many patriotic ceremonies. She had a very loving and loyal heart. She was a true Texas cowgirl who grew up on the range learning values, respect and courage to endure throughout her life. She loved life and enjoyed helping others. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sallie Jane McPhillips.
SURVIVORS: Daughter: Evelyn A. McCauley Christensen and husband Charles J. Christensen of Ingram. Son: John J. McPhillips and wife Linda McPhillips of Conroe. 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.

BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Hutsell was born August 27, 1909 in Sebastian, Arkansas. She married Leonard Hutsell in 1930 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1977. She was a clerk for TG&Y from 1948 until she retired in 1975. She moved to Groom later that year where she lived until 1993 when she moved to Pampa.
SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Ralph Hutsell of Groom, and John Hutsell of Culver City, California. 2 Daughters: Verna Lay of Royse City, and Shirley McCormack of Henrietta. 12 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Cain was born February 12, 1913 in Montague County, Texas. He had been a resident of Lefors since 1930 where he was a rancher for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorene May Bridwell Cain in 1979, and his second wife, Betty Reed Cain in 1989.
SURVIVORS: 3 Sons: Richard Cain of Gage, Oklahoma, Dean Cain of Rainier, Washington, and Tom Cain of Spearman. 1 Sister: Toots Windick of Fresno, California. 3 Brothers: Nelson Cain and Dickey Cain, both of Fresno, California, and Stiner Cain of Amarillo. 13 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren.

BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Zuerker was born January 21, 1910 in El Campo, Texas, to John & Rose Zuerker, and his childhood was spent in Lincoln, AR. Prior to his retirement, John was a lease operator with Mobil Oil for 42 years and was a farmer and rancher in Pampa, Texas where he raised his family. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Pampa. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Madge Zuerker.
John is survived by his sons, Jack Zuerker and his wife Tommie, and Joe Zuerker and his wife Lisa; daughters Jan Mattox and her husband Jess, and Jill Henry and her husband Bill; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Jackson was born May 17, 1925 in Putman, Texas. She had been a resident of Pampa for 56 years. She graduated salutatorian, summa cum laude, of Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth, Texas. She married Eschol Jackson, who was her high school sweetheart, and they were married for 60 years. She was a faithful member of the First Christian Church for 55 years. A homemaker, she had been active in PTA, Sunday School children's classes, Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF), Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Mrs. Jackson's primary love was her family and her dog, Dustin Lee. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She spent many years with her "girls" in Girl Scout Troop 41, teaching and leading them to become girls of good character. She was truly loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny B. & Nellie Mikeal of Fort Worth.

He later married Yvonne Howdeshell in 1996 at Pampa. He worked for Mundy Corporation for 23 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church.

She had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. She married Doyle Keeton on August 28, 1949 in Raton, New Mexico. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter Joy Lavelle Keeton in March of 1951, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

He also owned and operated a lawn service for many years. He was a member of the McCullough Street Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mandy Sinches in 1990.
