Kenneth Dale Harris
Kenneth Dale Harris Sr. 74, of Red Oak, Texas went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2009 in Dallas, Texas. Kenneth was born on August 28, 1934 in Huffman, Texas to Victor Sr. and Mattie (Tabor) Harris. Kenneth was an auxiliary member of the Harris County Sheriffs Department from 1958- 1966 and retired as a forge press operator from Wynan-Gordon Industries in September of 1999 and in his spare time he enjoyed recycling, fishing, crabbing, being outdoors and most of all spending time with his family. Kenneth was a very loving and caring man who will be missed by al that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Victor Sr. and Mattie Harris, daughter-in-law Mendy Harris, brother-in-laws; Monroe Ewell, Willie Landolt, Bob Edwards, niece Sharon Edwards, nephew Sparky Rowan. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Anna R. Harris, sons; Kenneth Dale Harris Jr. and wife Jana, Dennis R. Harris and fiancé Ellie O’Day, Daughter Valerie M. Broyles and husband glen, brother Victor Harris Jr. and wife Glorine, sisters; Cordelia Ewell, Joyce Badgett and husband Pat, Melvina Landolt, Violet Edwards, 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 6-8pm at Sterling-White. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 9, 2009 10am at Highlands First Assembly of God Church on Magnolia Street in Highlands, Texas. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2009 11am at Sunset Cemetery in Mountain Home, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Randall Joseph Grebey
Randall Joseph Grebey, 49, of Baytown, passed away following a longtime illness on Thursday, March 5, 2009, at a Houston hospital, with his loving family at his side. He was born on December 9, 1959, in Seguin, Texas. Joe grew up in Bentley, Louisiana, and on December 9, 1995, he married the love of his life, Mary Andrews, in Baytown. Joe attended Lee College and worked in the construction industry for KBR as a safety inspector. Besides his family, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, racing three-wheelers and fishing.
Joe is survived by his wife, Mary Grebey; his mother, Ethel Fannett of Highlands; two daughters, Amanda Gaskey and husband, Steve, of Highlands and Janell McMillan and husband, Rafael Fernandez, of Crosby; six grandchildren, McKayla Barnett, Danica Hernandez, Gabriel, Josue and Hannah Fernandez, and Gracie Gaskey; two brothers, Larry and Jerry Favors; three sisters, Sherry Brown, Cindy Glover and Peggy Whiteaker; niece, Melissa Whiteaker; and numerous other friends and family who will miss him.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2009, from 4 – 6 p.m. at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A service of remembrance will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2009, at the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels, with Dr. Charles Kyle officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be John Anderson, Tony Becker, Keith Kubicek, Larry Favors, Rashad Sabree, Wade Lott, Mike Williams and Jaime Lozano.

Stanton Wagers
Stanton Wagers 86, of Deer Park, Texas went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2009. Stanton was born April 16, 1922 in Manchester, KY to Elijah and Rella (Delph) Wagers.
Stanton worked as a papermaker and in his spare tine h enjoyed fishing, hunting and most of all spending time with his family. Stanton was a very hardworking and caring man who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Elijah and Rella Wagers, loving wife of 58 years Marguerite Wagers, brother Otto Wagers, sister Dosha Quincy, sister Nona Tendam, sister Gladys Dunvant and brother Harold Wagers. He is survived by his son Stanton Wagers Jr., son Dr. Harold Wagers and wife Virginia, son Allen Wagers and wife Nancy, grandson Stanton Wagers III, granddaughter Stephanie Wynne, granddaughter Melissa Wagers, grandson Paul Aaron Wagers, great grandchildren Donovan, Iva and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from5-8pm Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Pearlie Mae Scott
Sister Pearlie Mae Scott went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2009. Pearlie was born March 16, 1941 and was a life long resident of Crosby and a 1959 graduate of Charles R. Drew High School. She continued her education at business school and went to work for Harris County for 22 years.
She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. Pearlie Mae has been a faithful church member from childhood and has always shared her God-given gift of singing. Sister Scott has been a member at Pleasant View Church of God in Christ Jesus for more than 40 years. During this time she served as Choir President, Adult Sunday School Teacher and Mission Board member until her health failed.
Pearlie Mae was preceded in death by her mother Gertrude Jackson, her son Ricky Scott, brothers Harvey Lee, Leroy, Eddie, Robert, and Patrick and sister Betty Joyce.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her husband, David Scott, one son David Wayne Scott and daughter-in-law Othylene; two grand children David Scott Jr. and wife Corliss and granddaughter, Angela and one great grandchild, Donte. Pearlie also has two step-children Debra Johnson and Johnny Carroll. She will also be missed by four brothers, Willie Patillo (Monica), Tommy Jackson (Doris), Stephen Jackson and James Jackson and three sisters Katheleen Jackson, Carolyn Berry, and Mary Ann Williams (Dayton). Additionally, Pearlie leaves brother-in-law Clarence Scott (Evia) and sister-in-law Lillie Frank and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that will miss her.
A wake service will he held Friday night, March 6, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Both services will be held at Pleasant View Church of God in Christ Jesus, 142 Melville Drive, Barrett Station, Crosby, Texas.
Franklin “Roosevelt” Green
Franklin “Roosevelt” Green, age 72, of Baytown passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009.
He was born November 4, 1936 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the late Dallas and Frances Green. Roosevelt was the oldest son of eight siblings and attended public school in Melville, Louisiana. Roosevelt arrived in Baytown over 50 years ago where he met his beautiful wife Rillie Mae “Black” Green. From their union they had four children, Barbara, Ronnie, Harold and Roosevelt, Jr. and resided in the historical community of McNair Station on Waco Street.
Roosevelt was a loyal employee who worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a train crew member and retired after nearly 25 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dallas and Frances Green and his brother Wilford Green. Roosevelt leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 42 years: Rillie Mae Green, sons: Ronnie Antoine, Harold Green and Roosevelt Green, Jr. (Jackie); daughter: Barbara L. Trim; grandchildren: Freida L. Green, Felisha L. Trim, Charmonique R. Green, and Javiel Green, Texas; great-grandchildren: Yasmine L. Thurman and DaKori W. Haggerty; brothers: Wesley Green (Betty) and Wilbur Green; sisters: Thelma Green, Marjorie Frank (Frankie), Alma Green and Joyce Meullion; aunt: Helen Poole; son-in-law: Lloyd Trim; host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Danny Wayne McNulty
Danny Wayne McNulty, 48, of Houston, Texas passed away suddenly after a short illness on February 28, 2009.
He was born on October 5, 1960 in Liberty, Texas.
Danny graduated from Ross S Sterling High School in 1979, and from Texas A & M University in 1984.
He worked in Commercial Appraisals in Dallas and had worked for Randall’s Food and Drug for the last 17 years.
He is survived by parents Kenneth and Jenean McNulty, sister Pamela and husband Michael Velez of Houston, Texas and brother Rock and wife Shelly McNulty of Cleburne Texas, and nieces and nephews Kathryn, Kenneth and Kaleb Velez and Emily and Callie McNulty.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 1:00pm at Cedar Bayou Baptist Church in Baytown, Texas with Dr. E. Richard Steel and Dr. Mark Broussard officiating.
Gladys O’Brien
Gladys O’Brien, 78, of Crosby was born December 10, 1930 in Houston and passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 in a Baytown hospital. She was a member of Highlands United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapters #261 in Crosby and #55 in Fernandina Beach, FL. She was secretary to the president of Crosby State Bank before going to work for Lee College, where she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Alice Ricklefsen; husbands, George Sheffers O’Brien and John H. O’Brien; sister, Bertha May Kosina Garcee; and brothers, Alfred “Butch” Ricklefsen and John Clifford Ricklefsen. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Cynthia Ricklefsen of Winnie and Patricia Jean “Patti” and Patrick Bell of Palestine; sister, Dora Vance of Lufkin; brother, Carl Richard Ricklefsen of Crosby; grandchildren, Sue Penry, Dana Daniel, Stacy Branch, Sara Bell and Steven Bell; and great grandchildren, Seth Penry, Nolan Lombrea, Carter Branch and Grace Bell.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Highlands United Methodist Church, 107 W. Houston, Highlands, TX 77562 with Rev. Sharon Sabom officiating. Private family graveside services will follow later that day at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.

Brad Wims
Brad Wims, 34, of Deer Park, Texas, went to his heavenly reward on Monday, March 2, 2009 after a valiant fight against a rare form of cancer.
Brad is survived by his devoted wife, Jenifer, son, Zeke and daughter, Kaelyn. Also surviving Brad are his parents, David and Sandra Wims of Granbury; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rick and Paula Crotts of Baytown, and brother-in-law, Matt Crotts of San Antonio. Among many other loving relatives and friends surviving Brad are his special cousins and their families, Gena Roberston of Kerrville, Krista Bosse of Ingram, Bryan Hanna of Baytown and Allison Hanna of Austin.
Brad was predeceased by his older brother, Brett.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, March 5 from 6 to 8 pm at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, Texas. A memorial service will be at 2 pm, Saturday, March 7 at Southeast Church of Christ, 2400 W. Bay Area Blvd, Friendswood, Texas.
