Mr. Sutton was born Jan. 25, 1944, in Raleigh, N.C.
He was a veteran of the Army during 1966 and 1968 when he was stationed at Fort Hood. He was a member of Mountain View Lions's Club and The Optimist Club.

CLEBURNE -- John Unverzagt, 68, a retired electrician, died Friday, July 25, 1997, at a Chandler, Ariz., hospital.

Mr. Unverzagt was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Indianapolis. He was a Lutheran. He was past Leading Knight and a member of the Elks Lodge in Cleburne.

Her husband, Morris Weaver, preceded her in death in 1978.

Ernest Wells was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Catoosa County, Ga. He was a member of Terrace Acres Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Graydon H. Wilemon
FORT WORTH -- Graydon H. Wilemon, 96, a retired teacher, died Saturday, July 26, 1997, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial: Maypearl.
Graydon Wilemon was born July 16, 1901.
He was reared in Maypearl, and was the last of six sons born to Minnie Tirey and Will Wilemon. He graduated from Maypearl High School as valedictorian of his class. He entered Trinity University in 1922 and received his B. A. Degree.
Graydon Wilemon taught several years in Louisiana and Vernon and Kerens, Texas. He was a coach, principal and high school superintendent. He enjoyed the contact with students the most. During World War II when few coaches were available, and none for small schools, he would finish his day as superintendent and go out and coach football.
When his teaching career ended, he began a 30-year career in insurance. During his retirement years his family was his chief priority.
Survivors: Wife of 65 years, Emily Wilemon; sons, Graydon "G" Wilemon Jr., Jack Wilemon and wife, Diane, all of Fort Worth; daughter, Sandra Windsor and husband, Mike of Irving; grandchildren, Greg Wilemon, Jeff Wilemon, Susan Murphrey, Mike Windsor Jr., Brian Windsor, Jack Wilemon Jr., Will Wilemon, Rene Spivey; great grandchild, Ben Wilemon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth H. Young was born April 5, 1912, in Parker County. She lived in Arizona for many years before returning to Fort Worth for several years. She then moved to California and then finally returned to Weatherford 20 years ago.

John W. Cox
HALTOM CITY -- John W. Cox, 87, a farmer and rancher, died Sunday, July 27, 1997, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Eulogy will be given by Mr. Ray Stokes.

John Cox was born Nov. 1, 1909, in Fort Worth, and for the greater part of his life made this area his home. He was the second youngest of five children. He was a graduate of North Side High School. He met Jo Catherine Gee here in Fort Worth and they married in 1939 in Blum, Texas. Mr. Cox was a nephew of John and Lottie Mabee, founders of the J.E. & L.E. Mabee Foundation in Tulsa, Okla. He moved to the Mabee estate in 1964 and lived there several years to serve as executor of the large estate after their deaths. This association led him to become a philanthropist. He served as chairman of the board of the Mabee Foundation and most recently as a board member. Mr. Cox was a farmer and rancher most of his life with farms and ranches in Wise, Jack and Denton counties. He was a former member of the TCU Board of Trustees. He was a member of the Downtown Fort Worth Rotary Club and the Krum United Methodist Church.
Survivors: Wife, Jo Cox of Haltom City; sister, Ruby Johnson of Lingleville; nephews, L.E. Cox of Santa Barbara, Calif., Gifford Lee Johnson of Lingleville, Calvin E. Johnson of Slidell and John Marvin Ross of Austin; and niece, Anne Staudy of Lingleville.
