Nicole Taylor was born Sept. 9, 1979, in Fort Worth. She was a student at Haltom High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She played the French horn and was selected for Texas All-State Band her freshman and sophomore years. She was also a member of the Haltom Symphonic Winds Band and the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra. She was a member of the North Fort Worth Baptist Church where she played in the church orchestra. Nicole was also an accomplished artist, and an avid reader.
Survivors: Parents, Bobby and Susan Taylor; sister, Jennifer Taylor, all of Watauga; grandparents, Bob and Maude Ellen Taylor, Allen and Betty Moody, Wilma Good, all of Fort Worth; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dorothy Zimmer was born Nov. 21, 1927, in Fort Worth. She was the second youngest of nine children born to Hugh and Elizabeth Lynn. In the early '50s, she married F.P. Zimmer and together they lived in various areas of the country while he served as a colonel in the Air Force. She worked in the hotel industry with the Ramada Inn in Shreveport, La., and retired from the Marriott in Dallas in 1988. The past three years, Mrs. Zimmer has fought a courageous battle with cancer.
