Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.

Earl Richard Jenkins was born May 25, 1904, in Palo Pinto.

Survivors: Wife, Dorothy P. Jenkins of Fort Worth; daughters, Patricia A. Williams and Earlene Novak, both of Fort Worth; brother, Emmitt Jenkins of Mineral Wells; sister, Eva Lee Green of Mineral Wells; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild.

FORT WORTH -- Genevieve T. "Gene" Kizer, 82, a bookkeeper, died Tuesday, July 15, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Diamond Oaks Church of God, 5708 Diamond Oaks Drive, Haltom City. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Genevieve T. "Gene" Kizer was born Oct. 9, 1914, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a charter member of Diamond Oaks Church of God.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Richland Hills Nursing Center and Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Horace Wayne Kizer.

Survivors: Sons, Donald Brown and his wife, Sandra, of San Antonio and Randy Kizer and his wife, Debi, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Chris Brown of Texas City, Michael Brown and Mark Brown, both of San Antonio, and Brandon Kizer of Fort Worth; amd great- grandchildren, Nicholas Brown, Amber Jean Brown and Savannah Brown, all of San Antonio.

Ibbie L. McCreary
ARLINGTON -- Ibbie L. McCreary, 94, a homemaker, died Monday, July 14, 1997, in Arlington.

Funeral: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Eastern Star Home of Texas Chapel. Burial: Parkdale Cemetery in Arlington.

Ibbie L. McCreary was born May 9, 1903, in Bay City. She had resided in Arlington for six years, having moved from El Paso, where she had lived since 1972. She had orginally moved from Washington. She was a member of Woodbine Chapter, O.E.S. No. 738 of El Paso, adopted Chapter of Jourdaton No. 581, Polytechnic No. 420, Evadale No. 1111 and Livingston No. 1139.

Survivors: Sons, Howard F. McCreary and J.T. McCreary; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Frances McKown was born Nov. 27, 1927, in Tarrant County. She was born and raised in the Grapevine-Colleyville area and moved to Joshua about 12 years ago.

Survivors: Husband, Robert McKown of Joshua; sons, Robert and his wife, Helen McKown, of Haltom City and Ray and his wife, Diane McKown, of Fort Worth; brother, Jimmy and his wife, Linda Gilbert, of Byron, Ga.; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Sarah, Jim, Jason, Amber and Megan.

Ruben A. Mobley Jr.
TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, N.M. -- Ruben A. Mobley Jr., 73, a former Fort Worth resident, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 1997, at a hospital in Albuquerque, N.M.

Services were Monday in Truth or Consequences.

Ruben A. Mobley Jr. was born Aug. 9, 1923, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to R.A. and Cecelia Haddock Mobley.

Survivors: His wife, Mary Grace of Truth or Consequences; son, R. Kelly Mobley of Fort Worth; daughters, Donna Clark and Diana Jones, both of Fort Worth, and Robin Strickland of Wichita, Kan.; grandchildren, Stacy Clark, Brett Clark and Brian Williams, all of Fort Worth; five great-grandchildren, all of Fort Worth; an aunt, Tressa Jones of Guthrie, Okla.; and numerous cousins.

Ora Cheaney Moore
GRAHAM -- Ora Cheaney Moore, 93, a homemaker and retired Realtor, died Tuesday, July 15, 1997, in Graham.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Morrison Funeral Home. Burial: Pioneer Cemetery in Graham.

Memorials: Texas Baptist Children's Home, Box 7, Round Rock, Texas 78680. Ora Cheaney Moore was born Feb. 14, 1904, in Indian Territory (Oklahoma) to the late William and Lilly Cheaney. She attended public school and graduated from high school in Electra. Ora married A.M. "Max" Moore on Sept. 21, 1924, in Archer City. Mr. Moore preceded her in death in 1978. Mr. and Mrs. Moore formerly resided in Wink, McCamey, Big Spring, Houston and Hobbs, N.M. They moved to Graham in 1973. Mrs. Moore resided in Lamesa from 1985 to 1991, when she returned to Graham.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was active in WMU for many years. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Levelland and the Board of Reators in Houston.

Survivors: Sons, Welton Moore and his wife, Lula Fae, of Midland and Richard Moore and his wife, Lynn, of Houston; daughter, Betty Rowell and her husband, Joe Bob, of Graham; brother, Curtis "Jiggs" Cheaney of Aromas, Calif.; sisters, Lois Bradley of Electra and Zoe Ackerman of Wichita Falls; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Warren C. Moore
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Warren C. Moore, 87, a retired barber, died Tuesday, July 15, 1997, in North Richland Hills.

Funeral: noon Friday at Laurel Land Chapel of the Chimes in Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Warren C. Moore was born May 5, 1910, in McNeil and had resided in the Fort Worth area for 55 years. Mr. Moore owned Moore's Barber Shop in south Fort Worth for 25 years. He was a member of Acton Baptist Church and Hemphill Heights Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Essie J. Moore, on Feb. 16, 1997, and his son, Larry M. Moore, in December 1996.

Survivors: Daughters, Dorothy J. Harris and her husband, Derold, of Fort Worth and Norma J. Overdorf and her husband, Joe, of North Richland Hills; granddaughters, Valerie Harris Fitzgerald of Corpus Christi and Selena Harris Priddy and her husband, Walter, of Longview; great-grandson, Blair Fitzgerald of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Marie Guy, Edith Segler and Evalena Coffey, all of Oklahoma City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wants to offer their most sincere thanks to their cousins, the children of Berry and Jessie Moore. We will always remember their kindness and love and caring during this difficult time.

HURST -- Alice A. Moreland, 91, a retired licensed vocational nurse, died Sunday, July 13, 1997, at a local hospital.

Alice A. Moreland was born Feb. 8, 1906, in Pittsburg, Texas. She was a member of Harwood Terrace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Ada Alice McCrady Barker, and four sisters.

Survivors: Sons, Charles L. Whittenberg and his wife, Mary Alice, of Hurst; sister, Nannie Lou Mitchell of Crowley and Gainesville; grandchildren, Richard Whittenberg, Alice Newsom, Marilyn Slaughter, Judy Haines and Tanya Reeves; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Richard Mitchell Niemi Jr., 51, a Lockheed security supervisor, died Monday, July 14, 1997, in North Richland Hills.

Richard Mitchell Niemi Jr. was born June 20, 1946, in Houston. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1968.

Survivors: Wife, Sharon Niemi of North Richland Hills; sons, Rick T. Niemi of California and Jeffrey T. Niemi of Oregon; daughter, Lori Niemi of Oregon; sisters, Nancy Neundorf of San Antonio and Lucy Cassidy of Arizona; granddaughters, Alexandria Howard and Jordan Niemi; and grandson, Jacob Niemi.

Otis Norwood
CLEBURNE -- Otis Norwood, 76, an arc welder who retired from Texas Steel after 20 years, died Sunday, July 13, 1997, at a Cleburne nursing home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Full Gospel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, 1010 S. Parkway Drive in Alvarado. Burial: Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at Morris-Bates Mortuary. Family hour: 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Otis Norwood was born June 26, 1921, in Alvarado. He had lived in the Cleburne area since 1968, after moving from Alvarado. He attended Alvarado schools. Otis was a Baptist by faith. As a young man, Otis played baseball, a sport which he had a love for.

He was preceded in death by a son, Monroe Norwood, in 1968.

Survivors: Wife, Theadoris Norwood of Cleburne; son, Lee Otis Norwood of Fort Worth; daughter, Katherine Norwood of Fort Worth; brothers, J.T. Norwood, Isiah Norwood and Ted Norwood, all of Alvarado; sisters, Hazel Simpson of Wichita, Kan., his twin sister, Orine Webb, of San Antonio, Inell Sheppard of Modesto, Betty Chandler of Dallas, Omellen Grant of Cleburne and Eula Square and Lola Sewell, both of Alvarado; grandchild, Tracy Hajek of Arlington; great-grandchildren, Ariana Hajek of Arlington and Wendell Banks of Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

HALTOM CITY -- M.J. Redmond Jr., 82, a Haltom City Water Department maintenance employee, died Monday, July 14, 1997, at a Haltom City nursing home.

M.J. Redmond Jr. was born Nov. 6, 1914, in Joshua. He and his wife celebrated their 66th anniversary June 30, 1997. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Survivors: Wife, Doris Thelma Redmond of Haltom City; daughters, Delores Dorene Hall of Granbury, Thelma Jeanne Mahana of Aledo and Carolyn Sue Ross of South Nashua, N.H.; brother, Charles H. Redmond of North Richland Hills; sister, Frances Hill of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.
