Rev. Elden H. Cole was born May 7, 1910, in Sanger. He was preceded in death by Maidie Glass. He was in the service of the Lord, serving as a Methodist minister for 44 years in Kentucky and in the North and West Texas conferences.
Survivors: Son, Robert E. Cole of Muskogee, Okla.; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Pyles of Bedford and Nancy Lynn Harper of Azle; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and goddaughter, Patti Jean King of Bridgeport.

Truman E. Cooper
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Truman E. Cooper, 73, a police officer who retired in 1982, died Sunday, July 13, 1997, in North Richland Hills.

Truman Cooper was born Feb. 7, 1924, in Cleburne. He lived in the Fort Worth area for 53 years. He served 38 years in the U.S. Navy and worked for 30 years for the Fort Worth Police Department traffic division. He was a member of the Fort Worth Police Officers Association.
Survivors: Wife, Doris Cooper of North Richland Hills; sons, James Cooper of Waco and Jeramiah Cooper of Fort Worth; daughters, Angela L. Cooper and Terri L. Edward C. Davis
GRANBURY -- Edward C. Davis, 75, a retired Texas hotelman, died Monday, July 14, 1997, at his home.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Acton Cemetery in Acton.
Memorials: Edward C. Davis Endowed Scholarship Fund at the University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management; Family Hospice of Fort Worth; or Parkinson Disease Foundation.
Edward C. Davis was born July 22, 1921, in Gorman. He was executive vice president of the operation company of the St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio, where he worked for 27 years. He retired from the Gerald D. Hines Companies as general manager of the Lamar Hotel in Houston in 1986.
Mr. Davis was a life member and officer of the Texas Hotel and Motel Association, which he served as chairman of the Texas-Mexico Relations Committee. He was a life member of the Greater Houston Hotel and Motel Association and the San Antonio Livestock Exposition. Mr. Davis was a member of First Christian Church of Granbury.
Survivors: His wife of 55 years, Pauline M. Davis of Granbury; daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Wayne Snyder of Fort Worth; son, Scott E. Davis of Cushing, Okla.; grandchildren, M. Scott Thomas and his wife, Brenda, of Fort Worth, Tiffany L. Thomas of Fort Worth, Travis E. Davis of New Braunfels and Kellian Davis and Kyle D. Davis, both of Love's Park, Ill.

Lula Domm
WEATHERFORD -- Lula Domm, a living record of West Texas history, her life spanning nearly a century, died Saturday, July 12, 1997, at a Weatherford nursing home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cotton-Bratten Funeral Home. Interment : 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Albany Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Domm, whose father was a descendant of a survivor of the "Trail of Tears," was born July 10, 1898, in Indian Territory. When still a small girl, her family moved to Albany, Texas. At a water stop on the way to Texas, the train conductor received a telegram and announced to the passengers that Oklahoma had just been granted statehood -- the year was 1907. Lula spent much of the rest of her childhood at the ranch house at Fort Griffin.
During the oil boom of the 1920s, Lula worked in Eastland as one of the first employees of Western Union.
Through Lula's eyes and ears passed World Wars I and II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, the advent of flight and eventually space travel. She witnessed the changes television brought and even saw man walk on the moon.
For one who witnessed so much change in her lifetime, Lula remained steadfast in her ties to the Methodist Church. She was a longtime member of Couts Memorial United Methodist Church in Weatherford. She will always be remembered for her crochet work. She made many items for the Couts Memorial Harvest Festival each year. For the last three years, Lula crocheted baby throws for the infant formula program at First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth.
Lula was preceded in death by her son, Millard Wayne, in 1938 and grandson, Joel, in 1976.
Survivors: Two sons, John Domm of Fort Worth and Dr. Bill Domm of Williamsburg, Va.; one sister, Lucille Seed of Brownwood; five grandchildren, Chris Domm, Dale Domm and Jason Domm, all of Fort Worth, Cheryl Schusler of West Chester, Pa., and Kay Domm of Williamsburg; and five great- grandchildren.

Steven Craig Francis
FORT WORTH -- Steven Craig Francis, 41, a graphics designer, died Sunday, July 13, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 4 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Steven Craig Francis was born Jan. 8, 1956, in Lawton, Okla. He was a 1974 graduate of Everman High School, where he lettered in baseball, and Paris Junior College. He loved baseball, bird- hunting and playing drums. He played drums with the group Latigo. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Mr. Francis was preceded in death by his mother, Suzanne Webster Francis.
Survivors: Wife, Karen D. Francis of Fort Worth; son, Joshua Francis of Fort Worth; daughter, Kayla Francis of Fort Worth; parents, Clint and Barbara Francis of San Angelo; brother, James C. Elizabeth Marie Grabin was born July 24, 1910, in Lyra. She married Pete Grabin on Nov. 2, 1932. He preceded her in death Oct. 23, 1986. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

B.F. "Fred" Headrick was born Dec. 31, 1910, to John and Ester Headrick in Lamasco, Fannin County. He retired from the White Settlement Independent School District after 16 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Annie Lee Myers Headrick, and a son, Samuel David Headrick.

Brenda Sue Horton

Brenda Horton was born Oct. 28, 1940, in Bonita, Texas. She was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother and friend. She knew the joy of giving. Brenda was very proud of her children and their accomplishments in life. She taught many wonderful lessons.
Brenda "Mom" will truly be missed by many. Her legacy will continue to live through her family. She meant the world to us. And we look forward to the day when we can come together again. She was an earth-bound angel.
Brenda earned her degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She had been a schoolteacher for the past 25 years.

Tiffany Lynn Hunnicutt
FORT WORTH -- Tiffany Lynn Hunnicutt, 22, a teaching assistant at Texas A&M University, died Sunday, July 13, 1997, in College Station.
Funeral: noon Wednesday at First United Methodist Church. Dr. William M. Longsworth will officiate. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Family visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Robertson Mueller Harper.
Memorials: Trinity University and Texas A&M University have established a memorial scholarship in Tiffany's name. Contributions may be made to the master's degree program in the School of Speech and Communication at both universities.
Tiffany's lifetime accomplishments were enumerable and even more remarkable due to her young age. But it was not these accomplishments that defined her. A rare individual, she will be remembered for the unique way that she touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. Tiffany was an amazingly loving young woman who gave a part of herself to each one she knew.
A graduate of Fort Worth Country Day School in 1992, she received her bachelor's degree from Trinity University in 1996. Tiffany served as 1995-96 chapter president of Gamma Chi Delta sorority while at Trinity. She was a master's degree candidate at Texas A&M University.
Survivors: Her parents, Dr. Robert W. and Marsha Reynolds Hunnicutt of Fort Worth; sister, Nancy Hunnicutt Gunnin and her husband, Chris, of Dallas; brother, Robert W. CHICAGO, Ill. -- Laura Kathleen Sarles Irvin, 51, a homemaker, died Sunday, July 13, 1997, in Chicago.

Laura Kathleen Sarles Irvin was born May 23, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pa. Her family moved to Houston and then to Odessa, where Kathy graduated from Odessa High School. She received a bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University and a master's degree from Southern Methodist University. After graduation, she married John W. Irvin of Fort Worth and they settled in Arlington. Kathy was actively involved in the community. She was a member of the Junior League of Arlington, Junior Woman's Club of Arlington, the Alpha Delta Pi Mid-Cities Alumni Association and Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She also spent many hours as a volunteer in the Arlington public schools.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Sarles.
Kathy was a loving mother and sister, devoted wife and wonderful friend. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
