Trino Lopez was born Sept. 16, 1916, in Mexico.
He had lived in Fort Worth since 1961 and served in the Army in World War II.

Freddie Mac Lynch
MANSFIELD -- Freddie Mac Lynch, 64, a retired parts manager for Vandergriff Chevrolet and Buick, died Saturday, July 12, 1997, in Mansfield.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens, Garden of Valor. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Rev. Charles Hundley will officiate.
Mr. Lynch was born Dec. 18, 1932, in Corsicana.
He graduated from Arlington High School in 1952, and served in the Army during the Korean War. Freddie will be best remembered for his even temperment his quick, dry sense of humor and his love of his family and friends.
He retired from Vandergriff Chevrolet and Buick after 30 years of dedicated service. He was parts manager for more than 25 years.
The family of Freddie Mac Lynch said their goodbyes at his bedside on Saturday at 1 p.m. We are comforted that his suffering is over and that he rests in peace with our Lord.
Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Nadine Lynch.

Aunt Cat was a devoted member of Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ for 60 years. She never met a stranger, and never turned anyone away from her door. Aunt Cat always had a word of encouragement, a helping hand and a testimony of her faith.

Vivian Scoggins was born Oct. 28, 1913, in Gunter.
Mrs. Scoggins lived in the Fort Worth area 55 years. She was active in the White Settlement Senior Citizens Center and was named Tarrant County Senior Citizen of the Year in two different years.
She was a member and Sunday School Teacher for more than 40 years at First Baptist Church of White Settlement.

He was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II and moved to Hurst in 1955. He retired from General Dynamics after 42 years and was a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Gay Nell Waters Shadden, in November of 1975.

Joseph Smith
FORT WORTH -- Joseph Smith, 62, pastor of New Beginnings Holiness Church and Sunrise Holiness in Bonham, died Friday, July 11, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Elder Smith was born Nov. 2, 1934, in Paris, Texas, the son of Ownsby and Emma Doughty Smith. He grew up in and attended public schools in Paris. He lived several years in Leonard. His early religious training was in the Baptist church. In 1969, he was filled with the Holy Ghost, baptized and added to the church, and in 1971, he was called to the gospel ministry. Elder Smith founded Sunrise Holiness in Bonham in 1979, and later founded and pastored New Beginnings Holiness Church until his death.
He married Joyce Milton on July 8, 1962, and they shared 35 years of life together, as well as a shared Christian ministry until his death.
Elder Smith was a truck driver for Kimbell Foods for several years, and later worked for Green Bay Packaging. He formed his own business, Smith Pallet Manufacturing Co., several years ago.
