ARLINGTON -- Richard J. Castellano, 45, a business manager for a Fort Worth law firm, died Friday, July 4, 1997, in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Thursday in Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale. Memorial service: to be held at a later date. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home, Bowen Chapel.

Richard J. Castellano was born Oct. 2, 1951, in Mount Vernon, N.Y.
He was a graduate of Kimball High School in Dallas and received a BBA from Texas Technological University in 1973. He had been active in Arlington youth soccer since 1985, coaching girls for the Arlington Soccer Association. He was instrumental in forming select soccer in Arlington for youth and also coached YMCA girls 1st grade basketball.
Mr. Castellano was a member of St. Barnabas United Methodist Church in Arlington.
Survivors: Wife of 23 years, Novella Strealy Castellano; daughters, Angie Castellano, Gina Castellano and Lexi Castellano; and parents, Joseph Patrick and Eleanor Wino Castellano of Arlington.

Bill Chane
WEATHERFORD -- Bill Chane, 59, a former police officer for Weatherford and Mineral Wells, died Monday, July 7, 1997, at a Denton hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at North Side Baptist Church. Burial: Bethel Cemetery.
Bill Chane was born Sept. 6, 1937, in Marlin, Texas.
He was a retired master aviator for the National Guard. He was the owner of Chane Mowing Service and was a member of North Side Baptist Church. He was a former board member of the Weatherford Little League, UIL, ASA and Little League Umpire. He was instrumental in forming the Brazos Umpire Association and volunteered in many aspects of Girls Fast Pitch Softball in the Weatherford area.
Survivors: Wife, Nelda Chane; sons, Billy Chane Jr. and Brad Chane; daughter, Brandi Chane; father, George Chane; brother, Gary Chane; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Edgar S. Coffman.

David Greene Erwin was born Feb. 12, 1939, in Fort Worth and was a lifelong resident. He attended Paschal High School and Texas Tech and was the star running back at both schools. He loved boating and golf. Mr. Erwin was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church, Ridglea Country Club and the TCU Frog Club.
