Charles M. Reinhardt
ARLINGTON -- Charles M. Reinhardt, 68, a retired engineer, passed away Thursday, July 3, 1997, in Arlington.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Memorials: in lieu of flowers, the American Cancer Society.
Charles M. Reinhardt was born Nov. 3, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo. He retired from Murdoch Engineering Company, a subsidiary of Lockheed, in 1991. In his 16 years with Murdoch, he served as director of product assurance and director of technology. Previously, he served as a manager and senior project engineer at Lockheed Propulsion Company in California from 1960 until his transfer to Murdoch in 1975. He was responsible for 14 patents in the fields of solid rocket propellants and flexible seals. Before receiving his B.A. in chemistry from St. Louis University in 1952, Charles served in the United States Army from August 1946 until July 1948. He achieved the rank of Tech 5 as dog handler and trainer while stationed at Sandia Army Base in Albuquerque, N.M. He began his distinguished working career as a project chemist for Olin Industries from 1952 until joining Lockheed in 1960.
In recent years, he acted as a quality control consultant for Oil States Industries. Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying extended deep sea fishing trips aboard the Red Rooster II out of San Diego.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Reinhardt, his parents, Clarence and Katherine Reinhardt, and brothers, Joseph Reinhardt and Hubert Reinhardt.

Reinhardt; son, Tom Reinhardt and his wife, Dawne; daughters, Karen Reinhardt, Peggy Murphy and her husband, Hugh, and Teri Cage and her husband, Thomas; sister, Mary Columbo and her husband, John, of Raleigh, N.C.; sisters- in-law, Carol Reinhardt and Ann Reinhardt of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Amanda Cage, Tommy Cage, Jake Cage, Mary Cage, Colin Murphy, Liam Murphy, Sawyer Reinhardt, Morgan Reinhardt, Preston Williams, Blair Williams and Arthur Williams; and stepchildren, Arthur Williams and his wife, Teri, and Edward Williams and his wife, Vicki.

FORT WORTH -- Pauline Katherine Roberts, 90, a homemaker, died Sunday, July 6, 1997, at a Fort Worth care center.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home in Chesterton, Ind. Burial: Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Ind. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Dr. Christoph Armiger will officiate.
Pauline Roberts was born July 28, 1906, in Hungary, daughter of Peter Melzer and Susanna Scheiner. She was a Chesterton, Ind., resident 26 years.
She married Robert J. Roberts June 23, 1928, in Gary, Ind. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by brothers, George Melzer and Fred Melzer.
She was a volunteer for 20 years at Gary Methodist Hospital in Gary, Ind., was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Chesterton, and had also lived in St. Louis, Mo., Virginia and Texas.
Survivors: Son, Robert J. Roberts of Fort Worth; and sisters-in-law, Jane H. Fedor and Dorothy Bristow, both of Tyler.

Edna A. Scott
FORT WORTH -- Edna A. Scott, 86, retired postal clerk for the Postal Service, died Saturday, July 5, 1997, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Memorials: The Salvation Army. Edna A. Scott was born Dec. 28, 1910, in Alvarado. During World War II, she worked in Fort Worth building B-24 bombers. She retired from the Postal Service in 1975. Her hobbies were feeding the birds and she also took care of stray cats. She was a former member of Gospel Tabernacle Church of Fort Worth.

Dorothy Sharratt
FORT WORTH -- Dorothy Robbins Cossaboon Sharratt, 77, died Saturday, July 5, 1997, at home after battling cancer for 20 years.
Funeral was at 3:30 p.m. Monday at All Saints Episcopal Church. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park.
Dorothy Robbins Cossaboon Sharratt was born June 1, 1920, in Pennsgrove, N.J. She was a cheerleader and valedictorian at Cape May High School in Cape May, N.J.. After graduation, Dorothy became the youngest city treasurer of Cape May.
During World War II and in only three months, Dot met and married her husband of 51 years, William H. Sharratt, and bore six children. The family moved permanently to Fort Worth in 1956.
Dot was a pretty, selfless woman who always smiled. Anyone who met Dot never forgot her kind ways. With endless energy, Dot loved to cook, plant flowers and loved her children through the years. Until the time of our mom's death, she never quit smiling and telling us thank you for our efforts to comfort her. Her family and friends will miss her forever.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. "Bill" Sharratt.

FORT WORTH -- Thomas Calvin West, 51, a truck driver and terminal manager, died Monday morning, July 7, 1997, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Gilliland- Watson Funeral Home in Hereford, Texas. Officiating: Bro. Austin Stewart, Beacon Hill Baptist Church, Mesquite. Burial: Hereford Cemetery. Thomas Calvin West, a native of Glendale, Ariz., and a former resident of Hereford, was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Russell West, who died in 1989, and his stepfather, Billy Wayne Vanlandingham, who died in 1993. Mr. West served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 until 1970. His last commission was on the USS Currituck, the Navy's last seaplane tender. The flag draping his casket was the last to fly over that ship. As a truck driver for Steere Tank Lines Co., Tommy drove over 1,000,000 miles without an accident or violation.
