Frances "Fanny" Conaway was born March 16, 1914, in Praha. She was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church of Fort Worth and St. Rita's Altar Society Get Together and St. Joseph Hospital Guild. She was an active member of St. Rita's Garden Club. She served as a St. Joseph Hospital volunteer, contributing 663 hours. Following her LVN training at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, she was employed at the Edna Gladney hospital, where she cared for newborns for 25 years.

James Henry Gressett was born Dec. 12, 1902, in Iola. He was a member of Handley Meadowbrook Christian Church and was a life member of the Elks Lodge. He was also a member of the Fort Worth Orchid Society and several dance clubs. He was a veteran of the Navy in World War II, having enlisted when he was over age. He was assigned to the 64th Construction Battalion (Seabees). He served in the U.S.A., Newfoundland, Hawaii and the Philippines. He and his late wife grew orchids and other flowers. They enjoyed many friends and their families.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Ella Gressett; his parents; five brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors: Wonderful friend, W. Marcus Howe Jr. of Bedford; sister-in-law, Tressie Gray of Granbury; two nephews; and three nieces.
