Itasca Parker was born Aug. 24, 1916, in Nacogdoches, the daughter of Henry and Emma Blount Tillman. She grew up and finished high school in Nacogdoches. She came to Fort Worth in 1959.
Mrs. Parker was a member of Rebirth Church of God in Christ. Her interests included cooking, houseplants and sharing the wisdom of her years in a humorous and inspiring way.
Survivors: Son, Everett Parker of Fort Worth; daughter, Alice Parker of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Sharmona Parker, Stephen Parker and Sherian Parker, all of Fort Worth; and nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

LEWISVILLE -- Maybelle Reeves, 86, former longtime Fort Worth resident, passed away Monday, June 30, 1997, at a Lewisville nursing center.

Thomas Seiler was born Jan. 15, 1926, in Chicago, Ill. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and was in the Okinawa operation. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. He had a hobby of working with horses and was a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Troy.

John Eldrige Swart was born Aug. 24, 1920, in Yonkers, N.Y., to William and Helen Crowley Swart. He married Frances Mary Tangorra on Aug. 28, 1943, in the Bronx, N.Y. Mr. Swart was a retired service manager for Atlantic Aviation, worked with the Federal Aviation Administration and was involved in the Radio Control Flying Club.

MANSFIELD -- Robert Lee Anderson, 72, an educator for the Mansfield Independent School District who retired in 1995, died Wednesday, July 2, 1997, at an Arlington hospital.

Robert Anderson was born Feb. 16, 1925, in Hurst. He was a member of Arlington Community Church and was Mansfield Citizen of the Year in 1997. He married Corrine Pylant July 30, 1953, in Arlington. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Next to his family, students were his life. He spent 50 years in the education field, 48 in the Mansfield ISD. He was the 14th teacher hired in the Mansfield ISD. He announced the Mansfield football games for 33 years, before the stadium was named in his honor in 1989. Over the years, he was honored with many awards and achievements, and had a number of military academy appointments. Throughout his teaching career, he taught students that entered every occupation.
