Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at South Park Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Rowena Shands McDonald was born Feb. 20, 1923, in Mineral Wells.
She was a charter member of South Park Baptist Church and devoted her life to caring for her daughter, who has cerebral palsy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Glenn McDonald, in 1981.

Lewis E. Milburn
ARLINGTON -- Lewis E. Milburn, 85, a retired superintendent of the mechanical department with Missouri-Kansas- Texas Railroad, died Saturday, June 28, 1997, in Arlington.
Memorial service was at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home.
Lewis E. Milburn was born Oct. 3, 1911, in Marshall. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Louisiana, was a former president of the Texas Railway Association and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth. He was a retired superintendent of the mechanical department with the Katy Railroad. The last 10 years he worked as a crossing guard with Ditto Elementary School in Arlington.

Frank M. Moreland
FORT WORTH -- Frank M. Moreland, 78, a retired assistant parts manager for the then-Frigidaire Division of General Motors, died Sunday, June 29, 1997, in Fort Worth after waging a courageous five-year battle with strokes and Parkinson's disease.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Officiating: the Rev. Walter Black and Dr. Jay Beavers. Frank M. Moreland was born April 27, 1919, in Louisville, Ky. He attended the University of Kentucky until he enlisted in the Air Force and served in the European Theater during World War II. While in the service, he met and later married Dorothy "Dottie" O'Connor on June 30, 1945. They settled in Fort Worth, where Frank was the assistant credit manager for Monnig's Department Store. Later, Frank joined Frigidaire, where he was employed for over 25 years before he retired. Frank was a member of Arlington Heights United Methodist Church for over 50 years, participating in the John Honts Bible Class and the church's Boy Scout activities.
Always interested in children, Frank regularly took groups of his daughter's and son's high school and college friends for outings at the family ranch on Possum Kingdom Lake. He loved the outdoors and for many years hosted an annual deer hunt for his friends. He had an innate ability to fix anything, so in his retirement years he became "Mr. Fix-it" for his family, neighbors and friends. He was a wonderful husband, a devoted father and grandfather and a true friend.

Virginia Pellow was born Sept. 19, 1918, in Ludington, Mich. She was a member of the National Education Association, Michigan Education Association, Women's Study Club and the Jehovah's Witnesses.
She was a graduate of N.U.U. in 1940, taught one year in Saginaw, Mich., and for 25 years in Gwinn, Mich., at Gilbert Elementary School, 2nd grade.
She was married for 54 years to Thomas Pellow of Gwinn, Mich. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1996.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Helen Louise Seeds, 75, a registered nurse and homemaker, died Thursday, June 26, 1997, at home.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Graveside service was at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Crestview Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were members of Christian Women's Fellowship.

Helen Seeds was born Nov. 14, 1921, in Perry, Kan. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star, Richland Hills Christian Church and the Christian Women's Fellowship. Helen's life was an excellent model of Christian service. She served her country as a Navy nurse during World War II. After the war, she devoted herself to making a Christian home. Always a team player and peacemaker, Helen was a dedicated church worker and an active member of the Christian Women's Fellowship. Helen also volunteered with the Harris Hospital Auxiliary and Meals on Wheels. Her most lasting and significant work lay in nurturing those around her. Helen will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

ARLINGTON -- Margaret Ann Shilling, 56, a homemaker, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 29, 1997, in Arlington after courageously battling Lou Gehrig's disease for 21/2 years.

Margaret Ann Shilling was born Oct. 25, 1940, in Austin. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1958 and attended Texas Christian University. In 1960, she married Gordon Shilling and they moved to Arlington to begin their home, family and career. She had been a member of Pantego Bible Church since 1961. She worked as a church secretary, served in the nursery and was a leader in the Senior Adult Ministry where she enjoyed planning special events and field trips.
Margaret waited until her youngest child graduated from high school in 1991 before returning to college. In May of 1995, she received her degree as a dietetic technician from TCJC. She was looking forward to a promising future in dietetics when she was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease) and her health prevented her from pursuing those dreams. She was faithful to her family and friends. She was a true example of being a blessing to other people and giving of herself sacrificially. Her life was a living testimony of always thinking of others as being more important than herself. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend.

Ed Sisk was born March 22, 1929, in Nashville, Tenn. He was a devout member of the Trinity Baptist Temple. He was an avid guitar player and singer. Mr. Sisk enjoyed playing and singing for the church, fishing and camping.
