Gladys Bailey was born Nov. 2, 1916, in Mansfield.
Gladys was a member of the Everman Church of Christ and was employed by Sears for 25 years before her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Bailey.

Mr. Elliott preceded her in death on April 28, 1979. Mrs. Elliott lived in Saginaw more than 50 years, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband, Harold, in 1966; son, Kenneth, in 1996, and sister, Annabelle True.

She was a founding member of Ridglea West Baptist Church and was instrumental in creating a church library within the church. She was a teacher of adult education through the library systerm of Fort Worth I.S.D. and helped many people earn their GED and further their lives. She continued her work even after she suffered a stroke. She was preceded in death by her husband, F.B. Fuqua Jr. in 1979.
