Mary Ashmore was born Aug. 3, 1914, in Pittsburg, Texas.
She moved to Fort Worth when she was 13 years of age. She loved to knit caps for the newborn babies at Cook Children's Medical Center. She was a very special lady and was loved by everyone whose life she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lucille Ashmore; brothers, Sgt. James L. Ashmore and William F. Ashmore; and sister, Carolyn Mills.
