Helen Pappas Sorensen was born Sept. 20, 1928, in Fort Worth. She had been an area resident since 1997, prior to that she lived in Oakhurst, Calif. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and one brother, Ted Pappas Jr. of Malone.

Sim Thomas Thompson was born Nov. 15, 1953, in Cameron. He was an Arlington High School and UTA graduate. He was a member of the TAFTP and the TETA. He was an active supporter of school, community and professional theater. He was active in Scarborough Faire. He created numerous schools' and businesses' mascots.

Dorothy Truly was born August 13, 1910, in Bosque County.
She was a graduate of Texas Woman's University and a member of First Christian Church in Henrietta. She was the widow of Tom Truly.
Mrs. Truly retired from the `Dallas Morning News' in 1973.

AZLE -- Edward S. "Big Ed" Brownlee, 59, a retired millwright, died Sunday, June 22, 1997, at his residence.

Mr. Brownlee was born April 26, 1938, in Gorman. He served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1959, mostly in Hawaii, and had lived in the Fort Worth area since. Mr. Brownlee was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
