Katie Ballweg was born August 22, 1912, in Dallas County where she grew up before moving to Fort Worth in 1934. She worked for Fort Worth Independent School District and retired from Colonial Cafeteria in 1986.
Survivors: Husband of 63 years, Orell Ballweg; son, Bill and Billie Ballweg; grandsons, Scott and his wife, Yvette Ballweg, Eric Ballweg, Brent Ballweg, all of Fort Worth; and niece, Mary Agnes King of Mansfield.

Lee Brooks
LIPAN -- Lee Brooks, 55, a truck driver, died Saturday, June 21, 1997, at home.
Funeral: At a later date. Burial: Dilley Cemetery in Dilley.
Mr. Brooks was born April 11, 1942, in Bangor, Maine. He served in the Army from 1959-1963 and was a staff sergeant. He was also served as an Airborne Ranger with the 101st Airborne Division, and was a parachute instructor at Fort Benning, Ga. He worked for ATCO Rubber Products Inc. as a lead truck driver and was named Ryder Driver of the Month in September 1994.
Mr. Brooks was a Catholic.

Mr. Dudik was born Oct. 5, 1952, in Hillsboro.
He was reared at Mt. Calm and attended school at Coolidge and had lived in Arlington for the past 25 years. He was a painting contractor and a Catholic.

Jack Earl McIlraith
HURST -- Jack Earl McIlraith, 75, a retired claims adjuster for Employers Insurance of Wausau, died Saturday, June 21, 1997, in Hurst.
Graveside service: in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minn.

Jack McIlraith was born in Halsey, Wis. He lived in Wausau, Wis. until he moved to Hurst in 1966. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as gunner on a B-17 bomber in the 96th bomber group. His plane was shot down over Germany in 1944 and he was prisoner- of-war for one year. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a lifetime Shriner and served as treasurer of Boy Scout Troup 632 for many years.
Survivors: Wife, Marcelle of Hurst; sons, Mike McIlraith of Fort Worth and Jay McIlraith of Amarillo; daughter, Melissa McIlraith of Irving; sister, Jean Campbell of Woodland Hills, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

MIDLAND -- Joseph Charles Pareti, a retired purchasing agent for Shell Pipeline, died Sunday, June 22, 1997, at home.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth.

Mr. Pareti was born Dec. 1, 1914, in Galveston to Alice Fachan and Joseph Pareti. After graduating from high school in Houston, he attended the University of Houston. On Aug. 26, 1940, he married Mary Frances Martin in Fort Worth. They lived in the Gulf Coast Region, in Louisiana and Texas, before moving to Midland in 1963. In 1970, they moved to Fort Worth. He returned to Midland in 1988 to be near his family, and retired from Shell Pipeline after 30 years. He was a member of the Episcopal church.
Mr. Pareti was preceded in death by his wife in 1987, and a son, Joseph P. Pareti Jr., in 1955.
Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Mary Alice and Ron Aday of Midland; two sisters, Erma Rochelle and Alice M. Pareti, both of Fort Worth; and two grandchildren, Matthew Dennis of Dallas and Jennifer Dennis of Lubbock.

Anita McMurray Paschal
FORT WORTH -- Anita McMurray Paschal, 84, a retired mail order supervisor for Montgomery Ward Co., died Saturday, June 21, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Anita McMurray Paschal was born Aug. 6, 1912, in Fort Worth. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ 60 years. She was employed by Montgomery Ward Co. 45 years.
Anita McMurray Paschal cared for her invalid mother, Alta Lee McMurray, until her mother's death. She loved children and made dresses for her young nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylord O. Paschal.
Survivors: Stepson, Gaylord Wayne Paschal of Fort Worth; two brothers, George W. McMurray of Fort Worth and Marcus D. McMurray of Azle; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty Jo Patterson was born Aug. 26, 1923, in Springtown.
Mrs. Patterson worked for Continental Apparatus Company in Keller for approximately 12 years. After working with Continental Apparatus Company, she then worked for Hoffman - La Roche, Inc. before retiring in 1986.
She married Wilburn Patrick Patterson on May 19, 1943. She was active in St. Luke's United Methodist Women Auxiliary, Upper Room Sunday School Class, Mary Dagett Lake Garden Club, Ladies Auxillary El Texa Grotto and the Northern Circle Arts and Crafts Guild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors: Husband, Pat Patterson of Haltom City; sons, Ron Patterson and wife, Judy of Arlington, Garry Patterson and wife, Sharon of Round Rock, Larry Patterson and wife, Caryn of Lewisville; sister, Nona Mae Betty of Springtown; grandchildren, Penney Willis, Kevin Patterson, Becky Patterson, Kimberly Patterson, Kelly Patterson, Jacob Patterson, Joseph Milliman, Jeremy Milliman; great grandson, Chandler Garrett Patterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
