Van Connel was born June 1, 1928, in San Diego, Calif.

Mr. Cypert was born July 14, 1911, in Hillsboro.
He married Helen Akins in 1937, and the couple moved to Fort Worth in 1941. He was employed in the retail carpeting business for numerous years.
Mr. Cypert was employed as the carpet manager for Monnigs until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of Ridglea United Methodist Church.
Mr. Cypert was preceded in death by his wife, Helen A. Cypert on Jan. 12, 1996.
Survivors: Sons, David T. Cypert of Azle, G. Lynn Cypert of Houston; daughter-in-law, Bettye C. and Wade T. Nowlin of Fort Worth; brother, Truman Cypert of Hillsboro; sister-in-law, Gladys Irwin of Fort Worth; sisters, Margie Boyse, Jewell Mitchell, both of Hillsboro, Sybil Herring of Alvin, Kathleen Cain of Pueblo, Col., Patsy Williamson of Dallas; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lillian Elder was born March 23, 1908, in Goldthwaite.
She was a housewife and a homemaker. She was a longtime resident of Fort Worth and a Baptist.

Doris Ellis was born Nov. 16, 1925, in Robinson, Ill.
She had lived in Fort Worth since 1938.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Ellis in November 1971.

He was a member of Elm Grove Assembly of God Church in Toler.

Manaura Gray was born Dec. 22, 1914, in Fort Worth.
She was the daughter of the late George Wilson and Virginia Wilson of Fort Worth. She was reared in Fort Worth and attended public school and graduated from historical I. M. Terrell High School and Dickerson Beauty School.
She had been a member of Johnson Chapel A. M. E. Church since 1927 and served faithfully with the Missionary Society and other auxiliaries of her church. Mrs. Gray was a 40-year member of the Mildred M. Anderson Art and Charity Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jospeh D. Gray and sister, Aleane Willis.
Survivors: Son, George Austin Gray of Fort Worth; daughter, Dorothy Ann Gray of Los Angeles, Calif.; and other relatives and friends including Mrs. Nancy Smith.

Karl Harris was born June 8, 1978, in Fort Worth.
He was a Fort Worth native, born to Larry and Sylvia Harris. He graduated from Paschal High School in 1996. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Karl most recently lived in Austin where he died.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry W. Harris in 1989.
