Louise Jane Rogillio was born April 20, 1920, in Penelope. She was a member of St. John The Apostle Catholic Church and Emerald Garden. She was active in the Legion of Mary and the Girl Scouts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dabney Rogilliio.

CLEBURNE -- David Wayne Thomas, 20, a steel pourer, died Friday, June 13, 1997, at a Waxahachie medical center.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Crosier- Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home in Cleburne. Burial: Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne. Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Thomas was born Oct. 26, 1976, in Cleburne.
He was a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church and graduated from the fire academy at TCJC as a certified Emergency Medical Technician in 1995.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, W.L. Cryer on Feb. 8, 1985, and E.A. Thomas in 1980.

FORT WORTH -- E. M. "Hoppy" Thomas, 72, a retired oil and gas appraiser, died Friday, June 13, 1997, at home.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Southside Church of Christ. Graveside service: 3:30 p.m. Monday in Nocona Cemetery.
Memorials: Southside Church of Christ Food Pantry, Fort Worth.
Mr. Thomas was born Jan. 14, 1925, in Corsicana.
"Hoppy" grew up in Nocona. He served three years in the Navy during World War II on the USS Tomahawk. He received five Asiatic-Pacific Medals and one Phillipine medal.
He belonged to the Southside Church of Christ in Fort Worth, the Texas Association of Appraisal Districts with the designation of Registered Professional Appraiser, and was a member of the Texas Assessing Officers. He retired in 1990 from Pritchard and Abbott, Inc., a Valuation Consulting firm in Fort Worth. Since his retirement, he served faithfully two days a week in the Southside Church of Christ Food Pantry.
Survivors: Wife, Lona Ritchie; son, Mark Thomas of Santa Fe, N.M.; daughters, Cheryl Lovett and her husband, Gary and their children, Lindsey and Lauren, all of Decatur; brother, Dick Thomas of Nocona; sisters, Pherne Abney of Fort Worth, Rosalie Yeargin of Nocona.

Rodney "Tim" Thompson
ARLINGTON -- Rodney "Tim" Thompson, 43, a service manager for Shoppa's Material Handling, died Saturday, June 14, 1997, in Arlington.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mansfield Ward, 3921 Turner Warnell Road, Arlington. Burial: Lillian.
Rodney Thompson was born April 12, 1954, in Willows, Calif. He spent most of his life in California, Idaho, Hawaii and Oregon. He moved to Texas a year ago to take a job as the service manager of Shoppa's Material Handling. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in which he held numerous positions.
Tim was an accomplished athlete and participated in snow skiing, bowling, deep-sea diving, boating, hiking, four- wheeling, archery and numerous other activities. He also had his pilot's license and enjoyed flying small planes. He was an excellent and skilled mechanic. He loved being around young people and spent much of his spare time coaching, teaching and taking various groups on boating and camping outings. He was recently involved in the "Make-A-Wish" program. Tim was an organizer and a perfectionist and worked hard to ensure everyone was taken care of and having a good time. Tim was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Heber C. Thompson.

Joseph Ainsworth Tilley III was born Feb. 25, 1963, in Fort Worth. His education consisted of the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird Campus) in Glendale, Ariz., in 1988; Texas Christian University in Fort Worth with a degree in finance in 1986; and Fort Worth Country Day School in Fort Worth in 1981. Previously he was a presidential appointee in the Agriculture Department during the Bush administration. He was a member of the Fort Worth Club, Steeplechase, Kappa Sigma fraternity and the Beefeaters Club.
Mr. Tilley was a loving husband, son, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Jones Tilley.

Alva Leo Burns Jr.
FORT WORTH -- Alva Leo Burns Jr., 64, who worked in the wholesale meat business for Deen Wholesale Meat Company, died Thursday, June 12, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at River Oaks Baptist Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Burns was born Sept. 1, 1932, in Fort Worth.
He attended North Side High School in Fort Worth and East Texas Baptist University in Marshall where he lettered in baseball, football and basketball. He began his working career in the wholesale meat business with Superior Meat Company of Fort Worth, where he became company vice president. After 32 years at Superior Meat, he started his own meat company, Double L Foods, which he operated for 14 years until he sold to Deen Meat Company of Fort Worth in 1996.
He was active in many church and civic organizations. He was a member and past president of the Southwest Basketball Officials Association for 25 years. He was a member and past president of the River Oaks Jaycees. He organized and started the first Castleberry Youth Association football program and organized and started the first Castleberry Youth Association baseball program. He coached youth baseball and football programs for many years. He was a former member and past president of Castleberry Elementary PTA where he was voted a lifetime membership. He was a member of Castleberry Band Boosters Club and a member and past president of Castleberry High School Athletic Booster Club. He was a former member of the River Oaks Park Board and a member and past president of the Castleberry Independent School Board where he served for 26 years. He served on many advisory boards and committees around the state while serving on the Castleberry ISD School Board.
He was a member of the River Oaks Masonic Lodge and River Oaks Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and best friend to scores of people who's lives he touched.
He enjoyed fishing, water skiing and attending any youth event, whether it was sports, band concerts, choir programs or plays. He also enjoyed playing fast pitch softball for many years where he was voted All-State First Baseman several times. He also played in one world fast pitch softball tournament.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Esta Burns.
Survivors: Wife of 46 years, Joann Burns; son and daughter-in-law, David and Barbara Burns; daughters, Debbie Fisher and Kelli Jo Burns, all of Fort Worth; grandsons, Brett Burns and his wife, Wendy of Arlington, Stacey and Sean Childress, Colton Fisher; granddaughter, Angie Burns, all of Fort Worth; mother-in-law, Pauline Ford of Marshall; three sisters-in-law and their husbands; two brothers-in-law and their wives; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

STEPHENVILLE -- Wayne David Calahan, 79, a retired gasoline operator for a refinery, died Friday, June 13, 1997, at a Stephenville nursing home.

Wayne Calahan was born June 9, 1918, in Graham. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Graham. He served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Calahan had lived in Granbury from 1981 to 1993 and in Stephenville since 1993.
