George Bolton was born Dec. 26, 1924, in Schertz, Texas. He was employed 10 years with the Fort Worth Police Department and had served in the Air Force for 23 years. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran. Mr. Bolton was a member of the 487th Bomber Group Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and son, Dan A. Bolton.

FORT WORTH -- Nell J. Breed, 57, a nurse, died Wednesday, June 11, 1997, at a local hospital.

Nell J. Breed was born March 20, 1940, in Flint, Texas. She had attended Calvary COGIC since 1969 where she served as a church mother on the Mother's Board. She was a highly respected counselor, a former district chairlady of YPWW district and local. She was chairman of the Witness Crusade, a licensed missionary and president of District Mission Circle.
She was a member of the African American Women's Network and a highly respected and admired nurse for many hospitals, TCOM Clinic, Martin Luther King Jr. Clinic and Tarrant County MHMR.
Survivors: Son, Noble George Breed of Fort Worth; mother, Mrs. Warnell Williams of Fort Worth; mother-in-law, Katherine Johnson of Fort Worth; brothers, Hoppie and Lenzy Alexander of Fort Worth, Willie Alexander of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Gary Alexander of Austin; sister, Dorothy Martin of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Dianna, Jamilyn and Blair; one uncle; five aunts; and a host of relatives and friends .

Vera Criswell was born Dec. 2, 1904, to Ira B. and Mae E. Schafer Brown in Moultonboro, N.H., and attended school in Alva, Okla. She married Owen R. Criswell on Dec. 24, 1921, in Woodward, Okla.; he died in 1971. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Ranger and United Methodist Women. She lived in Lake Leon from 1960 to 1967, when she moved to Ranger. She was Woman of the Year last year in Ranger.

De Ella Devance was born May 17, 1913, in Shiro, Texas. She was founder and minister of the Mission Outreach Church. Her Christian life was exemplary and influential to the faith of all who were fortunate to know her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Devance, and a son, James D. Arrington.

Harold Earney was born May 11, 1920, near Fredericksburg, Texas. He was in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a Baptist.

BEDFORD -- Dorris Jeanne Elam, 71, a retired psychologist, died Tuesday, June 17, 1997, at home.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 1997, at the First Jefferson Unitarian Church, located at 1959 Sandy Lane, Fort Worth.

D.J. was born Nov. 13, 1925, in Belleville, Ill. She lived most of her life in Fort Worth, receiving her Master's degree at TCU. She worked at Easter Seals Society, Expanco Training Center and, after retiring, at the Youth Orchestra of Greater Fort Worth and Connections Bookstore.
D.J. treasured her family and many friends as her greatest gifts in life. In the spirit of giving she has donated her body to the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Survivors: Husband, Claude B. Elam of Bedford; daughters, Claudia Tanseer of Greensboro, N.C., and Valerie Armstrong of Bedford; and her beloved grandchildren, Christopher, Tracy and Diana.

ARLINGTON -- Harold William Flusche Sr., 74, a retired Vought Aircraft employee, died Wednesday, June 18, 1997, in Arlington.

Harold William Flusche Sr. was born Jan. 13, 1923, in Gainesville. His parents were Max and Beulah Flusche of Gainesville. He went to school through the eighth grade at St. Mary's parochial school, then went to Gainesville High School and graduated in 1939. He went to California in 1941 and worked for Consolidated Aircraft Co. In 1942 Harold joined the Army Air Forces as a cadet. He married Arlie Bell Kitchens, also of Gainesville, in May 1943 and remained in the Army Air Forces until after victory in 1945. A son, Harold Jr., was born in September 1945. Five more children followed: Steve in 1948, Marcia in 1950, Nancy in 1952, Melinda in 1955 and Geoff in 1971. Harold and his family moved to Dallas in 1947 and then to Grand Prairie in 1950. He went to work for Chance Vought Aircraft in 1948. A move to Arlington was made in 1963. Harold retired from Vought Aircraft in 1988 after 40 years' service.
After retirement, he continued to enjoy his hobbies of reading, model airplane building, gun collecting and gardening.
Harold was a loving and devoted husband and father and he will be greatly missed by his family, friends and neighbors.
