Annie Lee Phillips was born May 9, 1906, in Ennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Phillips, in 1956.

Mildred Faye Price was born March 11, 1921, in Bennington, Okla. She was the first lady barber in Arlington and had retired from A.R.A. Manufacturing Co. She received a basketball scholarship to Oklahoma State College in 1940.
Survivors: Daughter, Jacque J. Tanton of Fort Worth; sister, Edith Estelle Sexton Nelson of Fort Worth; grandson and his wife, John D. and Cheryl Tanton of Arlington; great-granddaughter, Jordyn D. Tanton of Arlington; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Robert H. Seibert
FORT WORTH -- Robert H. Seibert, 68, a retired military officer, died Wednesday, June 18, 1997, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum.
Robert H. Seibert was born July 12, 1928, in Mount Union, Pa. He attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He served 20 years in the Air Force, receiving the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal and the Unit Citation Award, to name a few of the many medals and honors he received.
After retirement from the Air Force, he received a business degree from TCU. He worked for the state of Texas, Department of Human Resources in Child Protective Services. In his retirement, travel, family and comradeship with other military retirees kept him busy.
Survivors: Wife, Esther Grimison Seibert; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Cynthia Seibert, David and Julie Seibert and Andrew and Edyie Seibert; grandchildren, Boyd, Ryan, Sarah, Lee, Hunter, Trevor and Cole; and cousin, Hazel Wegener.

Grady Shults Sr. was born Oct. 25, 1904, in Abilene. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Iola Reynolds Shults; a daughter, Jerice Shults Freeland; and a son, Holland Hays Shults.

George M. Sims was born April 5, 1903, in Central. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

DALLAS -- Helen Elizabeth Huppertz Smith, 100, died Tuesday, June 17, 1997, at her daughter's home in Dallas.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday at Cox Chapel of Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.

Mrs. Smith was born to Agnes Steinle Huppertz and August Ernest Huppertz on Nov. 19, 1896, in Austin. SHe grew up in San Antonio, attended the University of Texas and became a schoolteacher. She married John A. Smith Jr., with whom she raised two children and lived all over the world throughout his career as an artillery officer in the Army and his tenure as captain of the Army polo team. They had been married 63 years when Col. Smith passed away in 1980.
Survivors: Her son, Col. John A. Smith III and his wife, Jackie Johnston Smith, of Fort Worth; daughter, Mary Helen Burnett of Dallas; three grandchildren and their spouses, Cynthia and Pat Shannon of Austin, Elizabeth and Lawrence Tamburri of Maplewood, N.J., and John and Virginia Burnett of Austin; eight great-grandchildren, Joseph, Kate and Andrew Shannon, Jack and Emilia Tamburri, and Willie Grant and Helen Burnett; and many nieces and nephews.

MCKINNEY -- Jerry Bruce Staton, 57, a loving husband and father, passed away Sunday, June 15, 1997, in McKinney, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Jerry Bruce Staton was highly respected and admired. He will always be a tremendous inspiration to his family and many friends, for his strength, courage and will to live. Jerry was an avid fly fisherman, golfer and loved bird hunting and flying. Jerry had a distinguished career and was involved in numerous civic activities which includes 13 years with PPG Industries and president of Regal Glass, Inc. He was president of the Little League Baseball Association in Muncie, Ind., president of Boswell High School Booster Club and a life member, Saginaw, Texas, a member of the school board in Eagle Mountain, Saginaw, a member of the board of directors at Camp Carter, YMCA, Fort Worth, a member of Colonial Country Club of Fort Worth, National Glass Dealers Association and a member of Stonebridge Country Club. He was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in architecture.
Survivors: Jerry is survived by his wife, Joanna Staton of McKinney; sons, Scott Staton of Jacksonville, Fla., Todd Staton of Sanger and Eric Staton of Decatur; daughter, Kristi Evers of Tulsa, Okla.; mother, Charlotte Bradley of Evansville, Ind.; father, Vernon Staton of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Willes was a member of Tau Beta Pi, honorary engineering fraternity; a charter member of The Planetary Society; and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers.
