Hood Rockwell was born Nov. 24, 1920, in Mambrino, Texas. He was a rancher and worked for Hood County Pct. 3 for 21 years and served as county commissioner for eight years of that term.

FORT WORTH -- Robert H. Seibert, 68, a retired military officer, died Wednesday, June 18, 1997, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum.

Robert H. Seibert was born July 12, 1928, in Mount Union, Pa. He attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He served 20 years in the Air Force, receiving the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal and the Unit Citation Award, to name a few of the many medals and honors he received.
After retirement from the Air Force, he received a business degree from TCU. He worked for the state of Texas, Department of Human Resources in Child Protective Services. In his retirement, travel, family and comradeship with other military retirees kept him busy.
Survivors: Wife, Esther Grimison Seibert; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Cynthia Seibert, David and Julie Seibert and Andrew and Edyie Seibert; grandchildren, Boyd, Ryan, Sarah, Lee, Hunter, Trevor and Cole; and cousin, Hazel Wegener.

George Leonard Stephens
MINERAL WELLS -- George Leonard Stephens, 76, a master mechanic and a retired Air Force veteran, died Thursday, June 19, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Baum- Carlock-Bumgardner in Mineral Wells with military honors provided by Dyess Air Force personnel.
George Stephens was born Sept. 24, 1920, in Mineral Wells.
He was a master sergeant when he retired from the Air Force, where he had been a member of the Airborne Special Forces. He was a World War II veteran and a retired master mechanic who worked on automobiles and motorcycles. He rode his bike until two years ago.

Auburn Taylor was born Feb. 29, 1912, in Santo.
Auburn was born the last of five children and was raised in the country near the community of Natty Flat. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign. He attended TCU to become an engineer and worked 43 years for the Texas Highway Department.
He was a weekend rancher who had a love of the Texas countryside and its people. He enjoyed the poetry of Robert Burns, Shakespeare and the Bible. His dry sense of humor will be remembered and missed.

Helen Cook-McMahan Winter was born March 19, 1916, in Seguin. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. She had formerly lived in Dallas and was a member of Women's Wednesday Club and past president of Dallas A&M Mother's Club.

FORT WORTH -- George Bolton, 72, a retired warrant officer for the Fort Worth Police Department, died Tuesday, June 17, 1997, in Fort Worth.

George Bolton was born Dec. 26, 1924, in Schertz, Texas. He was employed 10 years with the Fort Worth Police Department and had served in the Air Force for 23 years. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran. Mr. Bolton was a member of the 487th Bomber Group Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and a son, Dan A. Bolton.
