Stella N. Schneller was born Feb. 18, 1907, in Kempster, Wis.
She was a member of St. Maria Goretti, Leisure Club, Most Blessed Sacrament, Young at Heart Club, St. Matthew, Fifty Plus Club, American Association of Retired Persons and UAW Local 317 Bell Helicopter Retirees.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Schneller, in 1962.

Edward C. Stockton was born Oct. 7, 1911, in Chico.
The following was written by Mr. Stockton:
"Edward C. Stockton, a retired man in charge in the pressroom for the Star- Telegram. He was born in Chico, Texas, on Oct. 7, 1911, and was a graduate of Wichita Falls, Texas, High School and Wichita Falls Junior College. He worked for the Times Publishing Co., Wichita Falls, for 10 years and the Star-Telegram for 32 years until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of Hemphill Heights Masonic Lodge 1164. He was currently a member of Oakhill Presbyterian Church and served as a ruling elder for Polytechnic Presbyterian Church. He was a member of International Printing and Graphic Communications Union Local 51. He was business manager of the local union for 22 years."

John Underwood was born March 18, 1964.
On Sunday, June 8, our beloved John Patrick Underwood, at the age of 33, left his family and friends to be with our heavenly father. His presence will be missed greatly, but the love for him will be carried in the hearts of his parents, John and Gloria Underwood; his two loving children, Heather and Joshua Underwood; his sisters, Melody Hicks, Joy Harvison and Toni Armstrong; his brother, Michael Underwood; and numerous relatives and friends who also help carry our sorrow of his departing.
Please remember John "Patrick" as a jeweler by trade who loved his two children dearly and was filled with kindness to all he knew.

S. Yung-Liang Wang
IRVING -- Stewart Yung-Liang Wang, 75, a retired geophysicist, passed away Saturday, June 7, 1997, from complications of a bile duct tumor.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation: 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dr. Wang was born in Shanghai, China, in 1921. He graduated during China's eight-year war with Japan, from the National Tsing-Hua University in Kunming, China, with a double degree in mechanical engineering and physics. He worked as a petroleum engineer for Chinese Petroleum Corp., first in Shanghai and then in Taiwan, until 1960.
He came to the United States to pursue graduate studies and graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a PhD degree in geophysics in 1965. Since then he worked as a senior research geophysical scientist solving special problems for Mobil Oil Corp. in Dallas until his 1986 retirement.
During his tenure with Mobil, the areas Dr. Wang worked in were synthetic seismograms, seismic 2D and 3D ray-path migration, Kirchoff wave from migration, long seismic-source deconvolution process, diffraction x-t model curves, seismic static correction process and generalized Hale's refraction data computation.
He has developed numerous seismic related computation algorithms and written 20 internal reports and documentation. Dr. Wang held three patents in new seismic computation methodologies.
Dr. Wang was a highly respected geophysicist among his peers, known for his unwavering inquisitiveness, novel approach and thoroughness in problem solving.
Survivors: Dr. Wang is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tsai-Tse Wang; sons, James Wang of McClean, Va., and Si Wang of San Diego, Calif.; daughters, Tse-Wei Wang of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Tsesan Wang Shaw of Boston, Mass; ten grandchildren, Stephanie and Charles Wang, Alex and Nicole Birdwell, James and Calvin Shaw, April, Jeffery, Michael and Christopher Wang; a sister; and several nieces and nephews in China.
