Mrs. Day was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church and past leader of Girls Auxillary at College Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Day was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Day Sr. in 1971 and her daughter, Jeanine Pruitt in 1988.
