GRANBURY -- Jean Quinn, 76, a retired director of nurses, died Tuesday, May 27, 1997, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park of Granbury.
Jean Quinn was born May 25, 1921, in Monterrey, Ind. She had served in the Air Forces during World War II.
She retired from Arlington Convalescent Center in 1975 where she was director of nurses.
Mrs. Quinn was a charter member of the Granbury Garden Club and a member of First United Methodist Church of Granbury.
Survivors: Husband, Haywood Quinn of Granbury; daughter, Majel Sullivan of The Woodlands; brother, Dwight Wygant of Los Gatos, Calif.; twin sister, Betty Clemens of South Bend, Ind.; sister, Nancy Logan of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and grandchildren, Michael Quinn Sullivan of Alexandria, Va., and Julia Sullivan of Dallas.

Ola Jayne Robinson
FORT WORTH -- Ola Jayne Robinson, 85, of Fort Worth, a former longtime Eastland resident, died Sunday, May 25, 1997, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church in Eastland. Burial: Eastland City Cemetery. Rev. Jim Wright will officiate.
Ola was born Nov. 27, 1911, to Ed and Ola Mae Edwards Blair in Tucson, Arizona Indian Territory. Her family moved to Ranger, Texas, and she attended school there. She married J. Wright "Guy" Robinson Sept. 9, 1929, in Walters, Okla. They made their home in Eastland from 1929 until 1987 when, after Guy's death, she moved to Fort Worth.
In Eastland, she was active in the Pythian Sisters and the Eastland Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for more than 50 years. In 1972, She and her husband drove a 1969 American La France fire truck from New York to Eastland for the city of Eastland.
She was also a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Eastland and she enjoyed swimming, water skiing, crocheting and reading.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Guyrene Rogers, in 1994.

GRANBURY -- Katheryne O. Swift, a homemaker, died Sunday, May 25, 1997, in Granbury.

Katheryne Swift was born Aug. 20, 1917, in Mineral Wells.
She worked at Fort Worth National Bank as a bookkeeper in 1941-1946. She was a member of North Fort Worth Baptist Church and a member of Eastern Star.
