Edith Lefevre was born Feb. 27, 1918, in Walnut Springs. She had lived in Fort Worth since 1943. She worked as a nurse for Dr. Melvin Johnson 37 years before retiring. She was a member of Arlington Heights Church of Christ.

Hubert R. McBride
AZLE -- Hubert R. McBride Sr., 86, who was retired from Swift and Company, died Friday, May 23, 1997.

Mr. McBride was born Jan. 23, 1911, in Salem, Ark.
He lived in the Veal Station Community for 50 years. He was a Mason 62 years and a member of Lodge No. 92. He owned and operated Papco Construction for a number of years. He was married 651/2 years. He worked for Swift and Company 37 years.

MANSFIELD -- Richard Ray "Mac" McWilliams, 63, a cement finisher, died Thursday, May 22, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Mr. McWilliams was born in Mexia, the son of J.E. and Myrdus McWilliams. He grew up in Mexia, where he was a member of Grove Island AME Church. He graduated from The Woodlands School. Mr. McWillliams worked in the housing construction industry for more than 35 years, pouring concrete throughout the Metroplex. His love for horses and riding led him to form the Mansfield Westside Riding Club, with a membership of more than 25 riders, in 1988. Mac was also an avid fisherman, who was always ready to spend quiet time on the banks of local waterways.
He married Shirley Johnson in 1971, and they remained a loving and devoted couple until his death.
Survivors: Wife, Shirley J. McWilliams of Mansfield; sons, Michael McWilliams of California, Clyde McWilliams of Houston, Donald Ray McWilliams of Mexia, L.S. Johnson and Douglas Smith, both of Fort Worth; grandson he reared as his own, Landris Johnson of Arlington; daughters, Melba Joyce McWilliams and Felicia McWilliams, both of California, and Shirley Ford of Manor; sisters, Joyce M. Waters of Oakland, Calif., and Evelyn Carter of Dallas; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; uncle, J.B.
