Bill Johnson was born Aug. 5, 1926, in Cedartown, Ga., but had lived in Texas for 50 years.
He was responsible for automotive management in Little Rock, Ark.; Tulsa, Okla.; and Tampa, Fla.
He was a Pontiac dealer in Lubbock from 1964 to 1970, president of the Lubbock Automobile Dealers Association and a member of the Governor's Safety Council. During these endeavors he received numerous awards from the automotive industry including top grossing dealer in his region.
For the past 20 years his work involved auto sales in the Metroplex area.
