Mary Turkett was born Oct. 21, 1917, at Healton, Okla. She was a member of East Meadows Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer J. Turkett.

MANSFIELD -- Willie Lenier "Chief" Waltman, 76, a General Motors supervisor who retired in 1982, died Saturday, May 17, 1997, at home.

Willie Waltman was born Sept. 2, 1920, in Quitman, Clark County, Miss. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mansfield, Mansfield Masonic Lodge 331, Easter Star Chapter 876 and Moslah Shrine Temple and Scottish Rite of Fort Worth. He married Frederick Alma "Fredie" Yates Oct. 30, 1954, in Dallas.
Survivors: Wife, Fredie Waltman of Mansfield; son, Robert Waltman of College Station; daughters, Liz Waltman- Killmer of Arlington, Ruth McDowell of Mansfield and Lynne Waltman-Knight and Barbara Jean Thomson, both of Arlington; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

BURLESON -- Golda Wilkerson, 91, a homemaker, died Wednesday, May 14, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Golda Wilkerson was born April 2, 1906, in Baird.
Golda Wilkerson had been a resident of Fort Worth since 1919 and a member of Broadway Baptist Church more than 70 years. She was also a member of the Felicia Class of the church, Womans Club of Fort Worth and the Ionian Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude B. Wilkerson, a Fort Worth Transit Company executive.

ARLINGTON -- David H. Williams, 61, a real estate industries general manager, died Friday, May 16, 1997, in Arlington.

Mr. Williams was born July 5, 1935, in McComb, Miss.
He was a member of Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington.
He was a member of Arlington's Mens Garden Club and a 32nd degree mason. He was a Who's Who with The National Home Builder's Association. He lived formerly in Baton Rouge, La. and attended LSU. He was previously married to Madelyn Williams.

Shelia Sanderson Bell
FORT WORTH -- Shelia Sanderson Bell, an owner of a title company, died Sunday, May 11, 1997, at home after a lengthy illness.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday, May 23, 1997, at Shady Grove Church, 1928 West Shady Grove Road, Grand Prairie, 75050.
Shelia Sanderson Bell was a graduate of O.D. Wyatt High School, where she participated in speech, drama and band. She attended North Texas University. In the late 60s through the early 70s, Shelia worked for Southwest Land and Title Company. In the mid-70s, Shelia moved to the Houston area where she opened her own title company. In 1993 after she became ill, she retured to the Fort Worth area.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Andrew Sanderson, and by her friend and godbrother, Daniel Goldsmith.
Survivors: Daughter, Robyn Claire Bell of Grand Prairie; mother, Clara Winters; stepfather, Gene Winters of Oklahoma; sister, Sandra Peel of Fort Worth; nephew, Eddy Peel and his wife, Kristi, and their son, Jack, of Georgia; nieces, Dana Gill and husband, Dave, of Nebraska and Amy Farmer and husband, Otis, and their son, Quinn, of Mansfield; close friends and godparents to her daughter, Don and Connye Goldsmith; and godbrothers and sisters, Donny Jr. and his wife, Alycia, Ginny, Daryl and Jackye.

FORT WORTH -- Frank A. Bickel, 89, a retired technician for Western Union Telegraph Co., died Tuesday, May 20, 1997, at home.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Frank A. Bickel was born May 31, 1907, in Higgins.
He was exactly the middle child of 11 children born to Charles and Nellie Bickel.
Mr. Bickel married his wife of 66 years, Hazel Holt, March 15, 1931 in Tulsa, Okla. He made Fort Worth his home and retired from Western Union Telegraph Co. in 1970 after 50 years of service.
He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church Longhorn Bible Class.
Survivors: Wife, Hazel Bickel of Fort Worth; brother and sister-in-law, Floyd E. and Iris Bickel of Fort Worth; and several nieces and nephews.

Richard L. Bigbee
FORT WORTH -- Richard L. Bigbee, 68, a bowling pro shop and rod and reel repair shop owner, died Monday, May 19, 1997, at home after a lengthy illness.

Richard Bigbee was born Sept. 10, 1928, in Granite, Okla.
He married Eva J. Vowell on Feb. 18, 1949, in Lawton. Mr. Bigbee retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1968 after 22 years of service. After he retired, he owned a bowling pro shop and a rod and reel repair shop in Fort Worth. He was a bowler and a fisherman.
