Mrs. Felio Tsumpis was born Sept. 29, 1905, in Turkey and came to Fort Worth when she was 19 years old. She was the last immigrant from the first generation that came to Fort Worth. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church for 72 years and was a member of the Philoptohos Greek Ladies Society.
Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Gus and Ann Tsumpis of Fort Worth; grandson, Nick and his wife, Stephanie Tsumpis, of Aledo; granddaughter, Mary and her husband, Ernie Valamides, of Arlington; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Tsumpis of Aledo and Jonathan Valamides and Victoria Valamides, both of Arlington; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

FORT WORTH -- Angela Marie Baskin, 87, a shell manufacturer/assembler for Texas Steel Company, died Sunday, May 11, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Angela Marie Baskin was born April 7, 1910, in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was a first generation American of Slovak descent and attended Villa Sacred Heart Academy in Danville, Pa. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio, Democrat, Texas, and Fort Worth. She worked for National Biscuit Company in Cleveland, Texas Steel during World War II, Terrel's Lab and John Peter Smith Hospital doing secretarial work. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Altar Society and a charter member of the "First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association," a fraternal organization her father helped establish. She enjoyed gardening. All will miss her sense of humor and ability to hold everyone together no matter what challenge they faced.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Thomas Baskin; and children, Jordan Anthony Vasil and Nancy Baskin.
Survivors: Sons, John Michael Vasil of Myrtle Creek, Ore., and Raymond Joseph Vasil and George Thomas Baskin, both of Arlington, and the Rev. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Covin, in August 1994.
