SANSOM PARK -- Lewis E. Lutz, 71, a retired state patrolman, died Monday, May 5, 1997, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Lewis E. Lutz was born Oct. 2, 1925, in Milwaukee, Wis., and had resided in the Fort Worth area since 1986. Before retiring in 1981, he was a sergeant for the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Mr. Lutz was a member of Rosen Heights Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Friendship Class. He served as bookkeeper for the Eastern Star Home from 1986 to 1990. He was an endowed member of both the North Fort Worth Chapter 684 and Tarrant Lodge 942. He was also an endowed past master of the Middleton, Wis., Masonic Lodge and an endowed past patron of Middleton Chapter 150 Order of the Eastern Star.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors: Wife, Evelyn J. Lutz of Sansom Park; sons, Daniel Lewis Lutz of Baraboo, Wis., and Larry Sibley Lutz of Madison, Wis.; daughter, Elizabeth Jane Lutz of Fort Worth; and grandchildren, Rebekah Jane Searcy, Andrew Lutz, Jared Lutz and Ellen Waters.

FORT WORTH -- Paul Marvin Manske, 36, a commercial artist, died Tuesday, May 6, 1997, at home.

Paul Manske was born April 30, 1961, in Fort Worth. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from UTA. He enjoyed photography, writing and gardening.

FORT WORTH -- Glada Lurotto Price, 79, a retired registered nurse, died Wednesday evening, May 7, 1997, at home.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Saturday at Robertson Mueller Harper-Eighth Avenue. Officiating: the Rev. John Feidler and the Rev. Dr. William M. Longsworth. Mrs. Price chose to be cremated and will not lie in state.

Glada Lurotto Price was born June 15, 1917, in Warsaw, Ind. She was a registered nurse and a member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth and was active in her Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold V. Price, who died in 1986.

Knowal A. Ratcliff was born May 27, 1909, in Graham and had lived in Fort Worth for 80 years. He attended the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin and retired as a keypunch operator for the Federal Aviation Administration after 35 years' federal service. He was a resident of DEAF Inc. at the Westchester House and was a member of University Baptist Church.

Albert E. Sheldon
BENBROOK -- Albert E. Sheldon, 79, a retired comptroller, died quietly Monday, May 5, 1997, surrounded by his family at his home after a lengthy illness.
Albert E. Sheldon was born Oct. 11, 1917, in Roundup, Mont. He was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran. Mr. Sheldon retired as national comptroller of Armour Truck Lines in 1981 after 42 years of service.

SAGINAW -- J.L. Shults, 66, a railroad signalman, died Wednesday, May 7, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

J.L. Shults was born May 24, 1930, in Pecos. After graduating from high school, J.L. was employed by the Texas & Pacific Railroad. In 1951, he became a soldier in the Army. After serving two years in the Korean War, he continued his employment wih the railroad. In 1954, he married Elma Falcon of Louisiana. In 1986, he and his wife moved to Saginaw in preparation for retirement. After 40 years of service, he retired from the Texas & Pacific/Union Pacific Railroad in 1994. He was a member of the American Legion and was an active member of Lakeside Church of God.
Survivors: Wife of 42 years, Elma Shults of Saginaw; daughters and son- in-law, A.J. "Anita" Morgan, Pam and John Burrows and Donna Davis, all of Saginaw; granddaughters, Malissa Burrows, Crystal Burrows, Amanda Morgan, Jessica Morgan and Magan Morgan; grandsons, Austin Davis and Tyler Davis; brother, Frankie Shults of Tucson, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.

James Sims Sr. was born April 6, 1915, in Greer, S.C. Mr. Sims served in the military from 1938 to 1945. He was a veteran of World War II and was active in the Air Force during the Cuban Missle Crisis from 1961 to 1962. He was a member of Rosen Heights Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Byrely Sims, who passed away on Sept. 13, 1996.

WEATHERFORD -- Jesse Stigall Jr., 65, a retired manager of Wyatts Cafeteria, died Thursday, May 8, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Northside Baptist Church in Weatherford. Burial: Central Cemetery in northern Parker County. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Jesse Stigall Jr. was born Jan. 21, 1932, in Point.
He owned and operated Old West Woodworks and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Mr. Stigall was a member of the Parker County Sheriff's Posse and served on the board of Central Volunteer Fire Department.
