Stella Fae Henderson was born Nov. 1, 1912, in Johnson County to the late John Robert Kilgore and Hattie Myrtle Kiddy Kilgore. She and her husband, L.B. "Fat" Henderson, were dairy farmers. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 3, 1987.
Mrs. Henderson was also preceded in death by a son, Leroy Henderson, and a grandson, Kevin Henderson.

Mary Ellen Harley Lundy was born May 18, 1920, in Graham.
She was a longtime resident of Lubbock and Fort Worth. She was a faithful member of Broadway Baptist Church and its Felicia Class.
Her career was in civilian personnel at Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock, Vance AFB in Enid, Okla., Carswell AFB in Fort Worth and two bases in England.
Mrs. Lundy had a spirit of adventure and loved to travel.
She volunteered during her retirement years for visiting the sick, teaching Sunday school and driving for the elderly.
The family is grateful to those at Presbyterian Village in Dallas who helped care for her during her last year.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Lillie B. Laymance; brothers, Merle Harley, Arzel Boyce "Babe" Harley and W.B. Harley Jr.

Michael O. Murphy
GRANBURY -- Michael O'Donovan Murphy, 85, a retired coach, died Monday, May 5, 1997, at a Granbury hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Granbury. Burial: Acton Cemetery.
Memorials: The family requests that no flowers be given, but suggests memorials be sent to the Methodist Children's Home in Waco.
Michael O'Donovan Murphy was born Feb. 20, 1912, in Warren, Ark., where he was an all-state football and basketball player. He graduated from the University of Central Arkansas, where he lettered in four sports, and received a master's degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.
Mr. Murphy began his 36-year coaching career in Dublin, Texas, later serving as head coach at Cisco, Comanche, Stephenville and Castleberry High in Fort Worth. He concluded his career at Irving High School in 1971 and retired to Granbury.
During a three-year tour of duty with the Navy during World War II, he assisted coaching the University of Southern California football team. During his career, he coached practically all high school sports, and achieved special success at basketball, for which his teams won more than 300 games and competed in the Texas high schools finals tournament three times. His 1953 Stephenville High School football team reached the semifinals before being defeated.
Mr. Murphy was one of the first inductees into the Stephenville Athletic Hall of Fame.
During his retirement in Granbury, former players and students gathered each spring on his birthday to reminisce and honor their former coach.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Granbury.
Survivors: His wife of 60 years, Louise; a son, Michael Murphy Jr. of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; one grandson, Michael Murphy III of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister, Jean Johnson of Memphis, Tenn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
