Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Burial: Rose Hill Memorial Park. The Rev. James Sciarratt and the Rev. Ron Harris will officiate.
Memorials: American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or East Meadows Baptist Church.
Ben L. Dollins was born Oct. 31, 1916, in Fort Worth. He was a member of East Meadows Baptist Church and its Gideon Sunday School Class. He was also a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dollins.
Survivors: Daughter, Barbara Maxwell and her husband, Wallie, of Fort Worth; son, Hubert Dollins and his wife, Kathy, of Stephenville; grandchildren, Shelley Brawley and her husband, David, Carrey Dollins, Kim Wimberley and her husband, Rodney, and Karyn Grimes, and her husband, Eddie; great- grandchildren, Will Grimes, Sarah Wimberley, Bryson Brawley and Drew Grimes; sister, Dorothy Smythe of Fort Worth;and several nephews and nieces.

FORT WORTH -- Louis "Sandman" Europe, 41, a cement finisher, died Saturday, May 3, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Louis Europe was born June 27, 1955, in Waco.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ninfa Rodriquez Flores, and brother, Ralph D. Rodriquez.

HUGHES SPRINGS -- Charles D. Fulton, a retired maintenance supervisor for General Dynamics, died Wednesday, April 30, 1997, at home.
Funeral: was Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Hughes Springs. The Revs. Durwood Bristow, Ross Poteet and Daniel Duncan officiated. Burial: was in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs.
Charles D. Fulton, a former Fort Worth resident, retired from General Dynamics in 1974 and the U.S. Postal Service Bulk Mail Center in 1985.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 116 for 55 years and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Wife, Jo Nell Fulton of Hughes Springs; daughter, Janet Reagan of Fort Worth; son, Larry Fulton of Wilburton, Okla.; and stepsons, Michael Kinnaird of Rockport and David Kinnaird of Abilene.

Bernard Wheeler Galbraith was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Kirkland. He married Nolene Modgling on March 31, 1939, in Childress. She died May 4, 1997, in Fort Worth. They resided at Cityview Care Center.
The Galbraiths had owned grocery stores in Crowell, Cisco and Fort Worth and a wholesale distribution truck grocery service. They retired in 1990.
Survivors: Sister, Jick Sansom; great-nephew, Scott Norman Sansom; and aunt, Mamie Green.

Glenn Raleigh Gillis
FORT WORTH -- Glenn Raleigh Gillis, 46, a deputy sheriff with the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department for two years, died Sunday, May 4, 1997, in North Richland Hills.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
Glenn Raleigh Gillis was born Jan. 22, 1951, in Camden, N.J. He was formerly of New Jersey and had worked for General Electric as a tool and die maker. He was a Navy veteran.
Mr. Gillis graduated from Brandywine College in Delaware and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police in Fort Worth.
Survivors: Mother, Annie D. Gillis of Grapevine; father, Nelson P. Gillis of Grapevine; sister, Gail L. Egan of Grapevine; daughters, Leslie M. Gillis and Caitlin M. NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- J.C. Godwin, 74, a police officer, passed away Saturday, May 3, 1997, in Granbury.

J.C. Godwin was born April 29, 1923, in Bridgeport. J.C. was a police officer in Big Spring, Texas, and Richland Hills. After moving to Granbury in the early 1980s he became a Realtor.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Jean.
Survivors: Sons, Mike Godwin of Bedford and Greg Godwin of Broaddus; six granddaughters; four great- grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. J.C. will be greatly missed by us all. Love, your family.

FORT WORTH -- H.G. "Doc" Gray, 79, a retired retail grocer, died Sunday, May 4, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

H.G. "Doc" Gray was born Nov. 17, 1917, in Smithfield. He was an avid golfer and a longtime member of Glen Garden Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.
Survivors: His wife of 55 years, Mary St. John Gray of Fort Worth; son and daughter-in-law, J. Michael and Ellen Gray of Santa Teresa, N.M.; daughter and son-in-law, Joni and John Ray of Fort Worth; brother, Tommy Gray of Zapata; sisters, Rose Perry of Oklahoma City and Betty Perry of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Michelle Jorjorian, Jeffrey Gray and Lori Ray; two great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his many golfing buddies.

FORT WORTH -- Fran Holland, 74, a bookkeeper for Swift & Company who retired after 32 years, died Sunday, May 4, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Fran Holland was born June 9, 1922, in Fort Worth. She was the sorority preceptor of Epsilon Gamma. She participated in Bible study fellowship and was a member of the German American Club and Handley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, M.N. "Budge" Holland, in 1988.
