Services for Sylestine Wooley, 84, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Monday at Shiloh Baptist Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Larry T. Hall of Shiloh Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
Mrs. Wooley died Wednesday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Grimes County and was a retired cook. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and attended Bryan Public Schools.
Survivors include her husband, L.V. Wooley of Bryan; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Doris Ann Wells

MADISONVILLE — Graveside services for Doris Ann Wells, 71, of Ennis and formerly of Madisonville are set for 1 p.m. Monday at Allphin Cemetery in Madison County.
The Rev. Michael J. Barone will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at J.M. Day Funeral Home in Madisonville.
Mrs. Wells died Saturday in Ennis.
She was born in Houston and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Madisonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hill Wells.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kathy Wells of Tyler; four daughters and a son-in-law, Karen and Sam Jeter and Kim Wells, all of Fort Worth, Brenda Padgett of Corsicana and Sandy Wells of Bastrop; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and June Neveu and Raymond and Brenda Neveu; 7 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Ethel Ferguson Mills

Graveside services are scheduled for Ethel Ferguson Mills, 88, of Bryan at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2001 at the Bryan City Cemetery. The Rev. Rob Chandler of the First Christian Church of Bryan will officiate. Mrs. Mills passed away Sunday morning at the St. Joseph Rehabilitation Hospital. Visitation will be at Hillier Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday morning.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. W. James King, John D. Oliver, Boyce B. Oliver, Ronnie L. Edwards and Jon Edwards.
Mrs. Mills was a lifelong resident of Bryan. She was an English major and graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Christian Church of Bryan, member of the Woman’s Bible Study at the First Baptist Church, charter member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, life member of the Woman’s Club, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Heritage Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Mills. She is survived by one daughter, Helen Werner of Houston; and two granddaughters, Alyssa and Laurie Werner of Houston.
David R. Galbreath

ROCKDALE — Services for David R. Galbreath, 83, of Rockdale are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
The Rev. Calvin Springer will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mr. Galbreath died Saturday at his home.
He was born in Sipe Springs, Texas, and lived in Rockdale 44 years. He was raised in the Sipe Springs, Hyte and Milano communities and lived 12 years in Yucaipa, Calif., before moving to Rockdale. He worked in the grocery business, retiring in 1986 as a grocery clerk at McVoy’s Grocery & Feed in Rockdale after 32 years. He also played guitar in a band with his wife.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Lee Galbreath.
Survivors include his wife, Inez “Tena” Galbreath of Rockdale; a son and daughter-in-law, David Ray and Barbara Galbreath of Frankston, Texas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Ann and D.R. Batis of Austin and Linda Sue Baxter of Rockdale; a brother, Ira Galbreath of Victoria; a sister, Maudie Eledge of Irving; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Joyce Katharine Glover

JACKSONVILLE, Texas — Services for Joyce Katharine Glover, 83, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Monday in the Renfro Memorial Chapel of Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
The Rev. Grady Higgs will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Glover died Saturday in a Palestine nursing home.
She was born in Jacksonville and was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in College Station. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harrison Glover; and a son, Ernest Paul Glover.
Survivors include a brother, Curtis Ross of Jacksonville; two sisters, Lorene Darden of Troup, Texas, and Molly Smith of Pasadena, Texas; two adopted grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Manning died Saturday at her home.
She was born in Huntsville and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Macey Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Pledger Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Manning of the Macey community; two daughters, Kay Killion of Humble and Patricia Appling of Hearne; a brother, Mervin Sanford of Dayton, Texas; a sister, Ola Martin of Austin; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
Isidro Y. Sustaita

Graveside services for Isidro Y. Sustaita, 69, of Shiro are set for 10 a.m. Monday at the Wheelock Cemetery in Wheelock.
The Rev. Frank Alegria of Brazoria United Methodist Church will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Sustaita died Saturday in Veterans Hospital in Houston.
He was born in Wheelock and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Garza Sustaita of Shiro; a son and daughter-in-law, Isidro Jerry and Maria Sustaita of Rosesharon, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Roel Ramos of Houston; five sisters and a brother-in-law, Rachel Costa and Don Dixon of Grapevine, Texas, Pauline Ayala of Bryan, Lupe Alverado of Vernon, Texas, Christina Sustaita of Richmond, Texas, and Alvina Garza of Fort Worth; and five grandchildren.
Oneta Grayson

CENTERVILLE — Services for Oneta Grayson, 83, of Marquez are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Marquez Baptist Church.
The Rev. Billy Bob Evans of the Marquez Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Marquez Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville.
Mrs. Grayson died Sunday in the Franklin Nursing Home.
She was born in Oletha, Texas, and lived in Marquez since 1946. She was a tax preparer for many years and presented seminars on the subject of tax preparation. She was a longtime member of the Marquez Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Neta and Don Hall of Marquez; two stepdaughters and a son-in-law, Sue and Dee Pollard of Alvin, Texas, and Ann Grayson of College Station; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Lora Frances Brown McAlpin

Graveside services for Lora Frances Brown McAlpin, 90, of Millican are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the College Station City Cemetery.
The Rev. Tom Hauser will officiate.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Covenant Presbyterian Church in College Station.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel College Station.
Mrs. McAlpin died Sunday at her home.
She was born in Sagerton, Texas, and lived in the Bryan-College Station area since 1977. She was a homemaker and was retired as the director of The Cumberland Rest Presbyterian Retirement Home for Ladies in Fort Worth, where she served as director from 1966 to 1977. She was the second woman and the youngest county clerk elected in Texas in Gaines County. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth and the A&M Presbyterian Church in College Station and was a lifetime Woman’s Leader in both churches and received numerous awards for her accomplishments. She was also a member of the Bryan Woman’s Club and Covenant Presbyterian Church in College Station.
Survivors include a son, Robert McAlpin of Navasota; two daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy and Benny Gallaway of Millican and Anna Scott of Waco; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clayton and Wynell Brown of Denver, Colo., and Glen and Bonnie Brown of Seminole, Texas; two sisters, Mildred Miller of Seagraves, Texas, and Billie Cagle of Fredericksburg; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Covenant Presbyterian Church Building Fund, Hospice Brazos Valley or the American Heart Association.
Erna Meyer Look

BRENHAM — Services for Erna Meyer Look, 97, of Brenham are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
The Rev. Kim Little-Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Look died Sunday in Brenham.
She was born in the Klump community of Washington County and was retired as a motel clerk. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham and the church’s Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Look.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
