J.D. Willis

LUBBOCK — J.D. Willis, 72, of Lubbock died Saturday at the Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home in Lubbock.
Mr. Willis was born in Stanton, Texas. He served as a firefighter in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He lived in Stanton for 17 years before moving to Lubbock in 1957. He was employed as an erector for Cyclone Fence Company for 30 years and retired in 1988.
Survivors include a son, Glenn D. Willis of Bryan; a daughter, Gwendolyn Perez of Lubbock; two brothers, M.D. and Elmer Willis of Texas; two sisters, Juanita Wagner of Oklahoma and Annie Smith of Tennessee; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Bernadine ‘Deanie’ Celeste Carter

FRANKLIN — Bernadine “Deanie” Celeste Carter, 79, of Franklin are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Dan Hannon of Christ Methodist Church in The Woodlands will officiate. Burial will be in the West Boone Cemetery near Franklin.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Carter died Monday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
He was born in Alvin, Texas, and was formerly of Tomball, Texas. She was a homemaker and resident of Franklin. Mrs. Carter was of the Christian faith and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Houston.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Carter of Franklin; a stepdaughter, Charlotte Carter of Reno, Nev.; a sister, Marian Westmoreland of Houston; three nieces; and one nephew.
Florine M. Wooster
May 10, 1929 — Jan. 21, 2002
RICHARDS, Texas — Services for Florine M. Wooster, 72, of Richards are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Union Grove Baptist Church in Richards. The Rev. Ed Park will officate. Burial will be in the Pool’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
Mrs. Wooster died Monday in Huntsville.
She was born in Richards and was a sales clerk for J.C. Penney. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, H.L. Wooster of Richards; three sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Arleeda Wooster of Clute, Texas, Dennis and Ginger Wooster of Freeport, Texas, and Toby and Connie Wooster of Houston; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Hank Lippold of Freeport; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Eva Nell Montgomery, Ivas and Jewette Montgomery and Bobby and Pat Montgomery, all of Richards; a brother-in-law, Nolan Welch of Baytown, Texas; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Walter DeWitt ‘De’ Drew

HEARNE — Walter DeWitt “De” Drew, 48, of Hearne died Sunday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Hearne.
He was born in Houston.
Survivors include his mother, Jo Nell Drew of Hearne; a brother, John A. Drew of Houston; and two sisters, Debra Drew Whitaker of Lewisville, Texas, and Charlotte Cook of Florida.
Lucille Doyle Yungbluth

Lucille Doyle Yungbluth, 90, of Bryan died Monday at Sherwood Health Care Center.
Mrs. Yungbluth requested that her body be donated to medical research.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
She was born in Patterson, Ill. She was a retired teacher and a Catholic.
Mrs. Yungbluth was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Louis Yungbluth.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Martha and Drew Schumacher of Greater St. Louis, Mo., and Susan Yungbluth of Sag Harbor, N.Y.; two sisters, Maxine Blackburn Kraft of Bryan and Doris Millikin of Albuquerque, N.M.; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for C.T. Field, 84, of Bryan is set for 4 p.m. Thursday at Cavitt Street Church of Christ. Gene Dewveall of Hempstead and Leslie Boone of Cavitt Street Church of Christ will officiate. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Restever Memorial Park.

Mr. Field died Tuesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was born in Bomarton, Texas, and lived in Bryan since 1960. He retired from L.M. Kizer Claim Service in 2000 after 52 years of service.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was a member of Cavitt Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Belva Field of Bryan; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Larry and Holly Field of College Station, Alan Field of San Marcos, Terry and Maria Field and Randy and Carla Field, all of Bryan; a sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Earl Boone of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was born in Freestone County. She lived in Richards for 79 years. She was a housewife and farmer. Mrs. Lucas was a member of Shiro Baptist Church.

Mr. Kenjura died Tuesday in Bryan.
He was born in Brenham. He attended St. Mary’s Parochial School in Brenham. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Kenjura of Brenham; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Ben Lubojasky of Brenham, and Michelle and Ed Thraen of Kentucky; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Charlene Kenjura of Brenham; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jean and Charles Kramer of Odessa; and four grandchildren.

Ms. Moore died Friday in Bedford, Texas.
She was born in Nashville. She was a petroleum land agent.
She attended public schools in Fort Worth graduating from Eastern Hills High School in 1973. She attended the University of North Texas and graduated from the University of Texas of Austin.
Survivors include a daughter, Amelia of Trinidad, Colo.; her father, Dr. James M. Mathis of Fort Worth; a brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Julie Mathis; one nephew; and one niece.

He was born in Bryan and was a teacher. Mr. Mackin was a member and past master of the Masonic Lodge #314 in Alvarado.
Survivors include his wife, Ricky Joy Mackin of Cleburne; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Jon and Deborah Mackin of Georgia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle Mackin and David Tucker of Houston, Melissa and Howard Lemmons of Houston; his mother, Dorothy Mackin of College Station; and eight grandchildren.
