John Louis Bonifazi

Services for John Louis Bonifazi, 62, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Victor Robles of St. Teresa Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hillier Funeral Home.
Mr. Bonifazi died Wednesday at his home.
A lifetime resident of Bryan, he was retired from the city of Bryan purchasing department. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Gustavus Bonifazi of Bryan; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shelly Bonifazi and Christine and Albert Rambo, all of Bryan; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Carolyn Bonifazi, Albert and Edith Bonifazi and Anthony and Liz Bonifazi, all of Bryan; a sister, Mary Bonifazi of Houston; and numerous aunts, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
Paula McWhorter Bridges

MADISONVILLE — Services for Paula McWhorter Bridges, 65, of Spring are set for 1 p.m. Monday at the Madisonville Funeral Home.
The Rev. Dick Lintleman, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Tomball, will officiate. Burial will be in Parker Cemetery in Grapeland.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bridges died Wednesday at her home.
She was born in Bryan and lived in Spring, Texas for four years. She formerly lived in North Zulch for five years. She attended the First Baptist Church in Tomball and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Bridges.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mike Bridges of Magnolia, Texas, and Steve and Marla Bridges of Tomball; two daughters and a son-in-law, Leilani Rae and Phil Marquez of The Woodlands, Texas, and Belinda Faye Maupin of Houston; three brothers, Winston McWhorter and Clyde McWhorter, both of Las Vegas, and Clifton McWhorter of North Zulch; two sisters, Lillie Leonard of North Zulch and Martha Springfield of Huntsville; and 10 grandchildren.
Evelyn Feist Finke

BRENHAM — Services for Evelyn Feist Finke, 87, of Brenham are set for 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham.
The Revs. Lawrence Bade and Kim Little-Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mrs. Finke died Friday in Brenham.
She was born in Burton and was a homemaker. She attended Boundary schools and was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the A&M Mothers’ Club and worked with Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors include her husband, Ollie H. Finke of Brenham; and a son and daughter-in-law, Nathan O. and June Finke of Dallas.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham.
Mary Ruby Michels

MADISONVILLE — Services for Mary Ruby Michels, 90, of North Zulch are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Willowhole Chapel in North Zulch.
The Rev. Don Semonski will officiate. Burial will be in Willowhole Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Madisonville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Michels died Friday.
She was born in North Zulch and was a lifelong resident of the Willowhole community. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Norman Richard Michels of North Zulch; a son and daughter-in-law, Darrell Boyd and Nell Michels of North Zulch; a daughter, Shirley Joyce Michels of College Station; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Lydia Anna Phillips

Mrs. Phillips died Thursday in Brenham.
She was born in the Frelsburg community of Colorado County and was a homemaker. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Phillips.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie W. Sr. and Beverly Ann Phillips of New Ulm, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Ann and Leslie E. Dockal of Brenham; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Burney H. Riechers

BRENHAM — Services for Burney H. Riechers, 74, of Brenham are set for 3 p.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church in Prairie Hill.
The Rev. Sue Beall will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mr. Riechers died Thursday in Brenham.
He was born in the Prairie Hill community of Washington County and was retired as superintendent at Brenham Port City Livestock. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Prairie Hill-Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Department, the Prairie Hill Rifle Club, the Washington County Farm Bureau and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene “Sis” Riechers of Brenham; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Fred Louis Westerfeld and Patti and David Jones Clay, all of Brenham; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Evelyn and Walter Thielemann of Brenham and Dorothy Luedke of Centerville; three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Theckla “Babe” Riechers of Brenham, Edith and Frank Dickschat of Washington and Harold “Pete” and Theresa Roese of Comfort, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

William R. ‘Bill’ Reeves

Graveside services for William R. “Bill” Reeves, 82, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the College Station Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Chapel College Station.
Mr. Reeves died Friday in Sherwood Nursing Home.
He was born in Calvert City, Ky., and was a longtime resident of Bryan. He served in the U.S. Army as a gun commander sergeant during World War II and was awarded the American Defense Ribbon, the EAME Theater Ribbon and Good Conduct Ribbon. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was retired from Texas A&M University.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Reeves of San Antonio; three daughters, Glenda Floyd of Conroe, Linda Keller of Fort Worth and Jan Boyett of College Station; a brother, Ed Reeves of Calvert City; two sisters, Comet Poe of Benton, Ky., and Lillian McElroy of Kevil, Ky.; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.

Mr. Walker died Thursday in Ben Taub Hospital in Houston.
