NAVASOTA — Services for Edward J. “Dutch” Plocheck, 79, of Plantersville are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plantersville.
The Rev. Edward C. Kucera Jr. of St. Mary’s Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Monday at Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home in Navasota and from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Monday at the church.
A vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Mr. Plocheck died Saturday in Memorial Southwest Hospital in Houston.
He was born in Plantersville and lived there for 19 years. He was retired from Exxon and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps Flying Tigers during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelia Faye Vickers of Houston; two brothers, Manuel Plocheck of Vann, Texas, and Willie Plocheck of Crosby, Texas; and three sisters, Clara Richmond of Baytown, Texas, Genevieve Klapesky of Anderson and Lena Zawacki of Houston.
Beatrice V. Green
Jan. 23, 1915 — Jan. 3, 2002
Services for Beatrice V. Green, 86, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday in Ruby’s Chapel of Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
The Rev. M.D. Morgan of Salem Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Green died Thursday in the College Station Medical Center.
She was born in Maysfield, Texas, and was a lifelong resident of Bryan. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and was retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Green Sr.; and a son, Willie Lewis Green Sr.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, A.C. Jr. and Mary E. Green of Bryan; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Alfred O. ‘Babe’ Martin

LEXINGTON, Texas — Services for Alfred O. “Babe” Martin, 83, of Lexington will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lexington Faith Temple Church.
The Rev. Jim Moore of Lexington Faith Temple Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Mr. Martin died Sunday in Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale.
He was born in Tanglewood, Texas, and lived there for most of his life. He was a U. S. Army veteran and served in World War II. He worked as a pot tender at Alcoa for 25 years and was a member of Lexington Faith Temple Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James Dennis and Susan Martin of Lexington; two daughters and a son-in-law, Vicki Joyce Martin and Carol Sue and Michael Ahrendt all of Lexington; a brother and sister-in-law, Tom and JoAnn Martin of Rockdale; and three grandchildren.
Clark Alan Adams

Services for Clark Alan Adams, 37, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Neal Bockleman of Bethel Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in College Station Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan and from 10 a.m. to the time of services Thursday at the church.
Mr. Adams died Sunday in Herman Hospital in Houston.
He was born in Seward, Neb., and lived in Bryan for one and a half years. He formerly lived in Katy and was a teacher at Sam Rayburn Middle School in Bryan. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Lauran Amanda Adams and Emily Ann Adams, both of Katy; a brother, Stephen Edward Adams of College Station; a sister and brother-in-law, Kirsten Kathleen and Jimmy Shelby of Austin; his parents, Clark E. and Judy Adams of College Station; and his grandfather, Alfred Doumont of Brosley, Mo.

Rochelle Leigh Dean

Services for Rochelle Leigh Dean, 16, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. David Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Smetana Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rochelle died Sunday at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was a student at Bryan High School, where she was in the Honors Program. She participated in Special Olympics, was a former student of the Margaret Halverson’s School of Dance and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Survivors include her parents, Arthur and Debbie Dean of Bryan; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Kimberly and Wesley Batson and Tiffani Dean, all of Bryan; grandparents, Dorothy and Bill Kucera and Alton and Rosemarie Dean, all of Bryan; a niece; and a nephew.

Byron Rychlik

Services for Byron Rychlik, 44, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
The Rev. Tim Skaggs of Central Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Wheelock Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Rychlik died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was employed as a substation technician with the Electrical Department for the City of College Station. He served in the U.S. Marines and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Leene Rychlik of Bryan; a son, Larry Rychlik of Bryan; a daughter, Melinda Rychlik of Bryan; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, David and Lynda Rychlik of Austin, Michael and Tonya Rychlik and Wesley Rychlik, all of San Marcos, Texas; a brother-in-law, Lynn Hermann of Bryan; his mother-in-law, Charlsey Ward of Bryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

John W. Holtermann

SAN MARCOS, Texas — Services for John W. Holtermann, 90, of San Marcos, Texas, are set for 1 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in San Marcos.
The Rev. Rick Waters will officiate. Burial will be in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Cemetery in New Braunfels, Texas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pennington Funeral Home in San Marcos.
Mr. Holtermann died Sunday in San Marcos.
He was born in Satler, Texas, and lived in San Marcos since 1985. He retired from Litton Office Products after 37 years, 16 years as store manager in Brownsville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Lehmberg Holtermann; and two daughters, Dorothy Caldwell and Marilyn Graham.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John W. Jr. and Pat Holtermann of Gig Harbor, Wash.; two sons-in-law, Robert Caldwell and Richard C. Graham, both of Wimberly; a daughter and son-in-law, June and Thomas D. Scott of Hilltop Lakes; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Alfred O. ‘Babe’ Martin

He was born in Tanglewood, Texas, and was a lifelong resident of Tanglewood and Lexington. He was a pot tender for Alcoa for 25 years and was a member of the Lexington Faith Temple Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Marie Martin; two sons, Robert Otho Martin and John Allen Martin; and a daughter, Cindy Lou Martin.

Thelston ‘Blackie’ Morgan

ROCKDALE — Services for Thelston “Blackie” Morgan, 80, of Rockdale are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
The Revs. Doug Springer and Calvin Springer of the Rockdale Full Gospel Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Milano Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Morgan died Sunday at his home.
He was born in Bell County and lived in Rockdale for 28 years. He formerly lived for 28 years in Milano and was retired as a security guard for Alcoa after 25 years of service. He was also a farmer and was a deputy sheriff in Milam County for five years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps During World War II as a staff sergeant.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Morgan of Rockdale; a son, Tommie T. Morgan of Houston; a daughter, Hannah Sue Pounders of Rockdale; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Bertena Alice Reed

Memorial services for Bertena Alice Reed, 83, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at Callaway-Jones Chapel in Bryan.
The Rev. Craig Borchardt of Peace Lutheran Church in College Station will officiate. Private burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Des Moines, Iowa.
Mrs. Reed died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Des Moines and lived in Bryan for nine years. She was a retired private nurse.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Karen Cox of Des Moines and Ron and Marcha Cox of Bryan; a sister, Rose Kavinsky of Streator, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
