CALDWELL Graveside services for Ruby F. Porter, 87, of Caldwell are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hix-Macedonia Cemetery near Caldwell.
The Rev. Cecil Lang will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Mrs. Porter died Saturday in Burleson-St. Joseph Health Center.
She was born in Bell County and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Porter.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Porter Marckstein of San Antonio; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lee Chambers

NAVASOTA Services for Lee Chambers, 85, of Navasota are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Navasota.
The Rev. Jim Nelms of the Greater New Hope Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Navasota.
Mrs. Chambers died Sunday in Grimes St. Joseph Health Center.
She was born in Grimes County and lived in Navasota for 20 years. She was a member of the Greater New Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Chambers.
Survivors include three brothers, Thomas Jefferson of Navasota, Johnnie Jefferson of Dallas and Albert Graves of La Porte, Texas.
W. Melvin Davis Sr.

Services for W. Melvin Davis Sr., 89, of Bryan are set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home in Waco.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. Visitation will also be from 10:30 a.m. to the time of the services Saturday at the Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis died Tuesday at Colton Inn.
He was born in Sandia, Texas, and lived in Bryan for 47 years. He was retired as maintenance supervisor for the City of Bryan. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Bryan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Kimbrough Davis.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, James C. Davis of Bryan and Walter M. and Annette Davis of Des Moines, Wash.; a brother, Gordon Davis of El Paso; a sister and brother-in-law, Itasca and Woodrow Rogers of Waco; and two grandchildren.

Services for Ben E. DuBard, 79, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
The Rev. Tim Owens of the First Baptist Church of Bryan will officiate. Burial will be in Jefferson, Miss.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. DuBard died Sunday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was born in Jefferson, Miss., and lived in Bryan for 34 years. He was retired as president of Charter Oil Co. and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bryan.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbye DuBard of Bryan; a daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and John Gambrell of Houston; two brothers, Silas DuBard and Melvin DuBard, both of Jefferson; and numerous step-children, nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
Ms. Hilley died Saturday in Navasota.
She was born in Anderson and was an electrical assembler. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a sister, Addine Brocksmidth of Kingwood; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hilley of Navasota, Mary Hilley of Groesbeck, Texas, and Gertrude Hilley of Nederland, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

BRENHAM Services for James Henry Kettler, 71, of Brenham are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church in Prairie Hill.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mr. Kettler died Monday in Brenham.
He was born in Gay Hill and was a retired dairyman and rancher. He attended Long Point School and served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, where he was in the Men in Mission, taught Sunday school and served on the church council for many years. He held offices in AMPI and was a member of the Prairie Hill-Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Maass Kettler of Brenham; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and David Dreyer of Brenham; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Cindy Kettler of Brenham; a brother and sister, Harold and Clara Joyce Eikenhorst of Burton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Viola and Lonnie Brauner of Killeen and Della Neill of Tyler; a sister-in-law, LaVerne Eikenhorst of Houston; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Henry and Nancy Maass and Ora Lee and Luther Gregor, all of Brenham; five grandchildren; and five aunts.

She was born in Burton and was a retired teacher. She attended Washington County public schools and received an associate degree from Blinn College and a bachelors degree from Sam Houston State University. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gus Korthauer of Brenham; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Patty Korthauer of Brenham; a sister, Hulda Korthauer of Brenham; a brother and sister-in-law, L.C. and Olita Prenzler of Burton; two grandsons; and two great-grandsons.

White, both of Bryan, Paul W. and Elsie White of Webster,Texas, George M. and Ronah White of Manvel, Texas, and Gary J. and Hilda White of Palestine, Texas; three daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara E. Riggs-Turner of Cedar Hill, Texas, Anne E. Foster of College Station and Mary J. and John Newsome of Port Arthur, Texas; a sister, Locke Belle Broadway of San Antonio; and 15 grandchildren.

Mr. DeLaCruz died Monday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was born in Elgin, Texas, and lived in Bryan for 57 years. He was retired after 25 years as a material controller for Alenco. He was a member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annie DeLaCruz of Bryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Evans died Dec. 20 in Bryan.
She was born in Brazos County and was a longtime resident of Bryan. She was retired and was a member of the Court of Calantha and New Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include three nieces, Lillian Pierce of Corpus Christi and Helen Montelih and Anna Frances Copeland, both of Los Angeles.
