James Ronald Godschall

MADISONVILLE — Memorial services for James Ronald Godschall, 57, of Normangee and formerly of Philadelphia, are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Normangee.
The Rev. Bill Lanagin will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of J.M. Day Funeral Home in Madisonville.
Mr. Godschall died Thursday at his home.
He was born in Philadelphia and recently retired as a telecommunication specialist in the natural gas industry. He held a second-degree black belt in Tai Kwan Do.
Survivors include his wife, Renee Boyd Godschall of Normangee; two daughters, Shannon Godschall of Normangee and Meghann Godschall of Pennsylvania; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Paula Bower of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Steven Godschall and William Godschall, both of Pennsylvania; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Virginia Godschall, Janet and John Caro and Susan Ward, all of Pennsylvania, and Victoria and Richard Manko of New Jersey; and six grandchildren.
Vestine Langston

Services for Vestine Langston, 84, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Ruby’s Chapel of Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Langston died Sunday in Bryan.
He was retired and served in the U.S. Army. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosia Lee Langston.
Survivors include three sons, Eddie Lee Langston of Bryan, Odell Langston of Phoenix and Vestine Langston Jr. of Wichita Falls; and two brothers, Fred Langston and Robert Langston.
Erna Kramer Pomykal
Feb. 18, 1911 — Feb. 17, 2002
BRENHAM — Services for Erna Kramer Pomykal, 90, of Brenham are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wesley Brethren Church in Wesley.
The Revs. Nello Strickland and Milton Maly will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mrs. Pomykal died Sunday in Brenham.
She was born in New Wehdem, Texas, and was a retired teacher. She attended Wesley School, Blinn College and received her bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University and a master’s degree from the University of Houston. She was a member of the Wesley Brethren Church, where she was the organist, president of the Christian Sisters for a number of years and was co-chair of the Prayer Chain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Pomykal; and a daughter, Betty Joyce Holder.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Betty Jean Pomykal of San Antonio and Waldo and Glynece Pomykal of California; a son-in-law, Henry C. Holder of San Antonio; three sisters, Leona Surovik of Rosenberg, Texas, Bernice Gajeske of Brenham and Beatrice Helweg of Fayetteville, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

NORMANGEE — Services for Mills Tyler Ramey, 93, of Normangee are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cozart Funeral Chapel in Normangee.

Mr. Ramey died Sunday in Bryan.
He was born in Augusta, Texas, and was retired from Herald Life Insurance. He was a member of Hilltop Lakes Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Addie Ramey of Normangee; a sister, Freddie O’Banion of Humble, Texas; a sister-in-law, Hazel Sullender Ramey of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Katie Lou Wallace Seigler

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
Ms. Seigler died Monday in Franklin.
She was born in the Beck Prairie community and was a lifelong resident of Robertson County. She was a retired grocery store clerk and owner. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Franklin.
Survivors include a nephew and his wife, Billy and Mary Wallace of Franklin; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hall Storrs.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Louise Storrs of College Station; a daughter, Jacqueline Book of Killeen; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Young died Sunday in St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Dickerson Run, Pa., and lived in Bryan for 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War and was retired as an instructor with the Army.
Survivors include his wife, Alice M. Young of Bryan; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Marie Young of College Station; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and John Bugge of College Station and Jessica and Ronny Munson of Abilene; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was born in Limestone County, Texas, and was an accomplished auto mechanic.

Alford Alexander Salis Baty Jr.

SOMERVILLE — Services for Alford Alexander Salis Baty Jr., 69, of Somerville are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery. The Rev. Ralph Power will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. to the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Baty died Tuesday at College Station Medical Center.
He was born in Houston and was a switchman for Armco Steel Company in Houston for 27 years until his retirement. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and a lifetime member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Baty of Somerville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Christeen Baty of Caldwell and Katharyn and Kevin Feagins of Houston; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Alford III and Lisa Baty of Kemah, Texas, and Lee Brand; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
