Services for Ramiro Rios Jr., 37, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
The Rev. Michael Sis of St. Mary’s Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Bryan City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to the time of services Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Rios died Tuesday at College Station Medical Center.
He was a lifetime resident of Bryan and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, Blanca Rios of College Station; a son, Ramiro Rios III of College Station; a daughter, Desiree Rios of College Station; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Abel and Janie Rios of College Station, Fernando and Carol Rios and Anthony Zuniga, all of Bryan; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna and Jose Flores of College Station and Irma and Ross Maxwell of Austin; his mother, Senaida Rios and stepfather, Vicente Zuniga, both of Bryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Horacio Nevarez-Lozano

AUSTIN — Memorial services for Horacio Nevarez-Lozano, 48, of Round Rock and formerly of College Station are set for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home in Austin.
Mr. Nevarez-Lozano died Wednesday.
He was born in Mexico and lived in Round Rock since 1991. He did his professional studies in Mexico and earned a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University. He worked for Weed Fiber Optics and later for Motorola as chief design engineer.
Survivors include his wife, Fantina S. Nevarez of Round Rock; a son, Horacio Gabriel Nevarez of Round Rock; three daughters, Melissa F. Nevarez of Austin, Alejandro Kristal Nevarez and Angelica Z. Nevarez, both of Round Rock; a son-in-law, Volta Ortega; his mother, Maria Antonia Lozano de Nevarez of Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico; brothers; sisters; nieces; nephews; and other relatives.
Dorothy Lively Corbitt
March 19, 1935 — Feb. 14, 2002
CROCKETT — Services for Dorothy Lively Corbitt, 66, of Crockett are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Crockett.
The Revs. Paul Gauntt, Ed Hogan, Lynn Stephens, Carl Wayne Standley, E.P. Ramsey Jr. and Tommy Hutto will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Allee Funeral Home in Crockett.
Mrs. Corbitt died Thursday in Crockett.
She was born in Crockett and lived in Crockett 19 years. She was a radio broadcaster for KIVY and worked in radio sales. She was a member of the First Baptist Church-Crockett, where she taught the Torch Bearers Sunday school class for more than 10 years. She was the president of the Child Welfare Board and was a member of the Crockett Career Women and the Wilma Foote Hammond Organ Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Corbitt.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Laurie Corbitt and Tommy Crouch of Brazoria; two sisters-in-law, Florrie Knox of Crockett and Shirley Corbitt Booth of Goodrich; two grandsons; two nieces; a nephew and numerous other relatives.

Ralph Albert Cox

Ralph Albert Cox, 75, of Bryan died Thursday at his home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mr. Cox was born in Haynesville, La., and lived in Bryan since 1996. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was retired after 35 years of service with Shell Oil Company as a quality control officer.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Cox of Bryan; a son, Bliss W. Records of Houston; a daughter, Kathleen Cox of Houston; two brothers, Wayne Cox of Lafayette, La., and Bobby Cox of Hohemwald, Tenn.; a sister, Margaret Cox Nanny of Henderson; and six grandchildren.

Edna Marie Parsley

Services for Edna Marie Parsley, 93, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Chapel College Station.
The Rev. Bob Richers of the First United Methodist Church in Bryan will officiate. Burial will be in the College Station Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parsley died Friday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Auburn, Ill., and lived in Bryan since 1989. She and her husband were the owners of Parsley Insurance Agency in Mansfield, Texas, prior to their retirement and move to Lake Whitney. She was inducted into the Golfer’s Hall of Fame in North Carolina and formed a Ladies Golf Association in Bryan. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bryan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Parsley.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Lawrence Maas of College Station; a sister-in-law, Mary Jayne Hunley of Auburn, Ill.; three granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.

Elton Taylor

BEDIAS — Services for Elton Taylor, 87, of Huntsville are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bedias Baptist Church.
The Rev. Kenneth Griffith of the Chapelwood Baptist Church in Huntsville will officiate. Burial will be in the Bedias Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Bedias.
Mr. Taylor died Thursday.
He was born in Iola and was a member and deacon for the Chapelwood Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Leatruss Phillips Taylor of Huntsville; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Ross and Virginia Taylor of Huntsville, Robert Taylor of Midway and Richard Taylor of Bedias; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ralph Wooderson of Pearland; a sister, Willie Slocumb of Jacksonville, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
William G. Tockhorn Jr.

BRENHAM — Services for William G. Tockhorn Jr., 75, of Brenham are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Zionsville.
The Rev. David Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mr. Tockhorn died Thursday in Houston.
He was born in Burton and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He graduated from Blinn College and Sam Houston State University and was a teacher for 34 years. He received a master’s degree from the University of Houston. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, American Legion Buddy Wright Post 48, VFW James F. Dillon Post 7104, Texas State Teachers Association, Louise Giddings Retired Teachers Association, Sons of Hermann Lodge 6 and Berlin-Mill Creek-Zionsville Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Dorthy Mae Kessler Tockhorn of Brenham; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Milroy and Jenny Jo Kessler of Pearland, John Barta of Sugar Land and Stella Kessler of Burton.

Dorothy Dymke

ROCKDALE — Graveside services for Dorothy Dymke, 78, of Rockdale are set for 10 a.m. Monday at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.
The Rev. Gene Hoover of the First Baptist Church of Rockdale will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Mrs. Dymke died Saturday at Manor Oaks Nursing Home in Rockdale.
She was born in San Gabriel and lived most of her life in Rockdale and the Rockdale area. She was a newspaper carrier for the Austin-American Statesman for 20 years and also worked as a bookkeeper for Richards Hospital, Miller Chevrolet and Macks Oil & Peebles Hardware. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rockdale.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lola Ruth Kidd.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Dymke of Rockdale; a son and daughter-in-law, Frank Jr. and Barbara Dymke of Wortham; a brother and sister-in-law, Hubert and Doris Brock of Abilene; a sister-in-law, Betty Brock of Houston; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Goldie P. Hill

GRAHAM, Texas — Services for Goldie P. Hill, 89, of Graham are set for 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Graham.
Burial will be at 4 p.m. Monday in the Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell.
Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home in Graham.
Mrs. Hill died Saturday at Graham Oaks Care Center in Graham.
She was born in Hollow Rock, Tenn., and lived in Graham seven years. She formerly lived in Caldwell. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Hill.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. James C. and Betty Hill of Graham; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was born in Dayton and was a lifelong resident of Bryan. She was retired from the Texas A&M Association of Former Students. She attended Sam Houston State University and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Flowers of Bryan; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Sam House of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Pat and Desireé Holland of Kurten; a daughter and son-in-law, Cebrena Holland-Pinzon and Mario Pinzon of Plano; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sandal Stephenson of Camp Creek; her mother, Ruby Stephenson of Bryan; and two grandchildren.
