Services for Mandy Lea Cothran Barker, 86, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel College Station.
Burial will be in Peach Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barker died Sunday in the College Station Medical Center.
She was born in Grimes County and was a lifelong resident of the Brazos Valley. She was a homemaker and was a member of Millican Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.S. Barker; and a son, Henry Clay Barker.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Louis Eugene and Nancy Barker of Millican and James and Judy Barker of Peach Creek, Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Tee and Dick Williams and Maryann and Marshall Crenshaw, all of Peach Creek, and June Judy and Donald Pitts of Kosse, Texas; a brother, Add Cothran of Conroe; three sisters, Aline Flournoy and Irene Ellisor, both of Huntsville, and Joyce Murdock of New Waverly, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

BRENHAM Services for Alfred Carl Boeker Jr., 57, of Brenham are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Zionsville, Texas.
The Rev. David Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mr. Boeker died Sunday in Brenham.
He was born in Burton and was a graduate of Blinn College and Sam Houston State University. He served as Washington County Commissioner for Precinct 3, was on the board of directors for Brenham National Bank, was an insurance salesman and rancher, and was the owner of Bar B Bar Brahman and F1 Cattle Ranch and Wagon Yard Mobile Home Park. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Brenham Noon Lions Club, Berlin-Mill Creek-Zionsville Fire Department, Bluebonnet Brahman Breeders Association, Texas Southwestern Cattleraisers Association, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. He also participated in 4-H, the Washington County Fair, FFA and Little League.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Boeker of Brenham; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Ricky and Melisa Bosse and Trey and Cathy Boeker, all of Brenham, Ryan Bosse of Warrensburg, Mo., and Brett Boeker of College Station; a daughter, Karla Boeker of College Station; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Clyde Engelbrecht of Houston and Birdie and Howard Sommerfeld of Brenham; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund.

NAVASOTA Services for Elnora Clark, 96, of Navasota are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Navasota.
Elder Stanley A. Lawson of Unity Tabernacle House of Faith Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clark died Sunday in Canterbury Villa Nursing Home.
She was born in Navasota and was a domestic worker. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Navasota.
Survivors include a nephew and a niece.
J.S. Buddy Hutson

FORT WORTH Services for J.S. Buddy Hutson, 91, of Fort Worth are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes in Fort Worth.
Burial will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
Mr. Hutson died Sunday at his home.
He was the retired owner and manager of numerous dry cleaning businesses.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes Loretta Hutson of Fort Worth; three sons and daughters-in-law, Sonny and Teresa Hutson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Don and Elaine Hutson of El Cerrito, Calif., and Michael and Donna Hutson of Fort Worth; three daughters and a son-in-law, Winifred and S.K. Hershewe of Los Angeles, Calif., Cheryl Ann Hutson Spell and Dana Hutson, both of Fort Worth; a sister, Jewel Brown of Stephenville, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Franke died Sunday in Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center in Brenham.
He was born in Brenham and was a lifelong resident of the Prairie Hill community. He was a farmer and rancher and attended Prairie Hill School and Blinn College. He was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill, where he was cemetery sexton for many years.
Survivors include a sister, Edna Franke of Brenham; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial services for Vernon G. Hill, 74, of College Station are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel College Station.
Lt. Col. Newt Cole will officiate.
Mr. Hill died Monday in the College Station Medical Center.
He was born in Wichita Falls and lived in College Station for seven years. He was retired from Davidson Texas Inc. He was a member of the A&M Corps of Cadets and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1948 with a degree in Architectural Engineering. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Hill of College Station; two daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and Bob Derr and Cathy and Richard Lovelace, all of Houston; a stepdaughter, Nancy Folcik of Littleton, Colo.; a stepson, William E. Martch Jr. of Houston; a brother-in-law, Jim Wilson of San Antonio; two grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.

He was born in Houston and was retired from Alenco. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Kosse.

He was born in Brownsville and was an auto glass installer and mechanic. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include three sisters, Janet Hunt of Victoria, Texas, Bonnie Schieffer of Austin and Jenna Bilyeu of Flower Mound, Texas; his parents, Richard and Maxene Stuesser of Victoria; three nieces; and two nephews.

Mrs. Zimmerman died Monday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Hungerford, Texas, and lived in Bryan since 1937. She was retired as a lab technician at Texas A&M University in the microbiology and veterinary medicine departments. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lamar Zimmerman of Bryan; a son, Jerry Zimmerman of Bryan; a daughter, Alice Zimmerman Boughton of New Iberia, La.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
