Services for Malinda Ottilie Jeske, 79, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Neil Bockelmann will officiate. Burial will be in the College Station Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hillier Funeral Home and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Jeske died Wednesday at College Station Medical Center.
She was born in Riesel and lived in College Station for 52 years. She was a homemaker and member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Jeske.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Laura Jeske of Snook and Donald and Renee Jeske of Hubbard; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Doug Williams of College Station; a sister, Augusta Korger of Marlin; six grandchildren; and one-greatgrandchild.

Willie Joe Kearney Jr.

IRVING — Services for Willie Joe “Lil Boy” Kearney Jr., 38, of Irving are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at West Union Baptist Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Tommie L. Ross of Castle Heights Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones Washington Mortuary, with a wake service conducted from 7 to 8 p.m..
Mr. Kearney died Friday in Decatur.
He was born in Bryan and lived in Irving for 14 years. Mr. Kearney was a laborer and a member of West Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Cody Kearney of Bryan and Kamron Kearney of Irving; two daughters, Raven Wright Kearney of Arlington and Diamond Kearney of Lewisville; four brothers, Calvin “Butch” Johnson Jr. and James “Jimmy” Johnson, both of Bryan, Darriel Kearney of Paris, Texas, and Robert Kearney of Irving; two sisters, Joslyn Neblett of Fort Worth and Wanda Kearney Benford of Irving; and his parents, Willie Joe and Ellarene Kearney of Bryan.
T.M. Lucas
Sept. 27, 1917 — Feb. 5, 2002
SHIRO — Services for T.M. Lucas, 84, of Shiro are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Shiro Baptist Church.
The Rev. Jack Jeter will officiate. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery in Shiro.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday with the family present at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
Mr. Lucas died Tuesday in Huntsville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Singleton. He was a welding supervisor for Cameron Iron Works. Mr. Lucas was a deacon and member of Shiro Baptist Church, a trustee on the Shiro school board and was the Shiro fire chief. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Lucas of Shiro; a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy Ray and Alana Lucas of San Antonio; two daughters and a son-in-law, Carolyn Craven of Austin and Sally and Matt Montgomery of Houston; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Oren and Margie Lucas of Pasadena, Ernest Lucas of Bryan and J.W. Lucas of Houston; a sister, Pearl Cash of Caldwell; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Ira Dorsey Jr.
Oct. 15, 1947 — Feb. 2, 2002
Services for Ira Dorsey Jr., 54, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at North Bryan New Birth Baptist Church.
The Rev. Lonzell Payton will officiate. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Navasota.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Navasota, with a wake service from 7 to 9 p.m.
Mr. Dorsey died Saturday at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
He was born in Brazos County and was the owner of Dorsey’s Rebar Construction Company. He attended George Wahington Carver High School and Prairie View A&M University. He was a member of Rock West Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Faye Dorsey of Bryan; two sons, Randrell Darcel Dorsey of Bryan and Darryl Jamaal Dorsey of Dallas; a half-brother, I.L. Williams of San Antonio; a sister, Loraine Dorsey of Navasota; his mother, Mae Ester Dorsey of Navasota; and two grandchildren.
J.C. Wilson Jr.

GAUSE — Services for J.C. Wilson Jr., 58, of Gause are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in Teals Prairie.
The Rev. Roosevelt Shannon will officiate. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery in Teals Prairie.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday at Daniel & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilson died Wednesday at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
He was born in Robertson County and lived in Gause for 16 years. He attended Blackshear High School in Hearne. Mr. Wilson was a Baptist and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Quenthia Wilson of Gause; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Thomas Wilson and Robert and Gail Wilson, all of Hearne, and Marvin Wilson Sr. of Bryan; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Jean and John Jones and Jessie and Andrew Brown, all of Houston, Norma Wilson and Leola and Elroy Potts, all of Hearne; his mother, Jessie Bell Wilson of Hearne; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

J.E. “Coke” Wellman
March 21, 1920 — Feb. 6, 2002
Services for J.E. “Coke” Wellman, 81, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
The Rev. Bob Richers and Deacon Bill Scott will officiate. Burial will be in the Odd Fellow Cemetery in Anderson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to the time of services Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mr. Wellman died Wednesday at home.
He was born in Beaumont. He had lived in Bryan since 1952, where he was the former owner and operator of the A&M Travel Agency. Mr. Wellman was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bryan and a former member of the Bryan Masonic Lodge. He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America, earning his Eagle Scout badge and the Silver Beaver and later becoming scout master of Troop 735 in Bryan. Mr. Wellman was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the naval flight demonstration team now known as the Blue Angels.
Survivors include his wife, Mehl Marie Wellman of Bryan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Marsha Wellman of Aransas Pass and Jay Steuart and Alice Wellman of Sweney; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Brazos Valley in Bryan or to the First United Methodist Church in Bryan.
Elva Vernon

HOUSTON — Services for Elva Vernon, 79, of Houston are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Madisonville Funeral Home.
The Rev. Johnnie Crocker of San Prairie Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m,. and from 8 a.m. to the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Vernon died Tuesday in Houston.
She was born in Bryan. She had lived in Houston since 1973 and was a former resident of North Zulch. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Vernon Sr.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Ella Vernon Jr. of Houston; a sister, Melba Giovanizzo of Tampa, Fla.; and a grandson.
Lucille Faines Munson

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Avis Munson of Clay; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Florine Bradley

Mrs. Bradley died Jan. 30.

Sarah Lynch Glover

CALDWELL — Services for Sarah Lynch Glover, 83, of Caldwell are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
The Rev. Steven Johnson of the First Baptist Church in Caldwell will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to the time of the services Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Glover died Thursday in Bryan.
She was born in Mannington, W. Va., and lived in Caldwell 22 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Caldwell and was a retired nurse She received her nursing training from Cook Hospital Fairmont General Nursing College in West Virginia and worked 25 years for Dr. D.J. Feinstein in Houston.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Ray Glover.
Survivors include her husband, James B. Glover of Caldwell; two brothers, Ray Clare Lynch of St. Alban’s, W. Va., and Albert Neal Lynch of Mannington; and a sister, Orie Ellen Sterling of Mannington.
