Services for Muldrew Bauguss Sanders, 86, of Iola are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Enon Missionary Baptist Church in Iola.
The Revs. Paul Gauntt of the 8th Street Baptist Church in Teague, Texas, and Clinton Everett of the Beacon Baptist Church in Bryan will officiate. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Sanders died Sunday at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Iola and was a retired rancher. He was a past member of the Iola Independent School District school board and the Agriculture Stabilization Conservation Board. He was a member and deacon at Enon Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Maxine Sanders.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, June and Richard Dudley and Gaye and Johnny Kay, all of Iola; a sister, Marguerite Murdock Hendrix of Houston; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Velma Ree Williams Pendgraft

HEARNE — Services for Velma Ree Williams Pendgraft, 56, of San Diego and formerly of Hearne took place Monday at the Independent Baptist Church in Hearne.
The Revs. William Adams and Walter Ward of the Independent Baptist Church officiated. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Pendgraft died Wednesday in San Diego.
She was born in Robertson County.
Survivors include four children, Alisa, Demetria, Tiffany and William Pendgraft; a brother, Orester Williams; two sisters, Lillian Ingram and Irene Williams; three grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Hattie Louise McGill

Services for Hattie Louise McGill, 74, of College Station are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Lincoln Center in College Station.
Brother Eugene Jenkins of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses will officiate. Burial will be in Weaver’s Cemetery in Millican.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 to 9 a.m. Wednesday at Daniel & Son Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mrs. McGill died Saturday in the College Station Medical Center.
She was born in Wellborn and was a lifelong resident of College Station. She graduated from Lincoln High School and attended Prairie View A&M University.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and worked as a housekeeper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McGill; and a daughter, Gladys McGill.
Survivors include four sons, Joseph G. McGill of Arlington, Va., Will H. McGill of College Station, Van A. McGill of Euless and Daniel C. McGill of Irving; three daughters, Winnie McGill and Terry Burrell, both of College Station, and Iama McGill of Bryan; a brother-in-law, Daniel G. McGill of Austin; a sister, Robbie Clark of College Station; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home in Hearne.
Mrs. Bishop died Sunday at her home.
She was born in Abilene.
Survivors include her husband, Donnie Bishop of Killeen; four sons, Morris Bishop of Mississippi, Jamie Bishop of Austin, Chris Bishop of Houston and Andy Wolf of Killeen; her parents, Betty Wolf of Cameron and Charles Hallford of Wichita Falls; a brother, Wayne Hallford of Grapevine, Texas; two sisters, Carolyn Wilder of Wichita Falls and Patty Scheiler of Cameron; and two grandchildren.
Helen Berger Butler

HEARNE — Services for Helen Berger Butler, 77, of Gause are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Gause United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Kenneth Byrd of the Gause United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Gause Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne.
Mrs. Butler died Sunday at her home.
She was born in Bryan and was a longtime resident of Gause. She was a retired real estate agent and was also retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan and attended the Gause United Methodist Church. She was city secretary in the village of Tiki Island in Galveston.
Survivors include her husband, Hilton Butler of Gause; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry D. and Carol Butler of Austin; a sister, Louise Bond of Bryan; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley.
Charlie Hahn Jr.

BRENHAM — Services for Charlie Hahn Jr., 68, of Giddings and formerly of Brenham are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Zionsville, Texas.
The Rev. David Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mr. Hahn died Sunday in LaGrange.
He was born in Prairie Hill, Texas, and was a retired carpenter with Walter Thielemann Construction.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Gaskamp Hahn.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mark C. and Stacey Hahn of Brenham; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Turnbow died Sunday at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was a businesswoman and homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include her husband, Kerry Turnbow of Bryan; a son, Virgil Faltysek Jr. of Bryan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Amie and Dale Nobles and Laura and Joe Cervantes, all of Navasota, and Priscilla and Robbie Kilpatrick Jr. of Bryan; a brother, C.F. Januse of Bryan; and six grandchildren.
Kathryn Thurman West

Graveside services for Kathryn Thurman West, 89, of Crockett, Texas, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at the New Church Cemetery in Edge.

Mrs. West died Friday in Clear Lake Medical Center.
She lived in Crockett for 20 years, formerly living in El Campo, Texas. She was a homemaker and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Crockett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude H. West.
Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Tullete West Belford of Sun City, Fla.; a brother, Douglas Warren Thurman of Bryan; a sister, Loyce Thurman West of Louisiana; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Henry Sample

Services for Henry Sample, 82, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
The Rev. David Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in the Bickham Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Sample died Saturday at Brighton Inn Health Center.
He was born in Wixon Valley and was a lifetime resident of Bryan. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was retired as an automotive electrician.
He worked at Bruner Battery and Electric in Bryan for 40 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bryan, where he was a member of the Men’s Bible Class.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Sample.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Jim CoVan of Huntsville, Ala., Glenda and David Wendt of El Campo, Texas, and Billie Jean and Davis Hill of Van Alstyne, Texas; a brother, Ernest Sample of Beaumont; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Bess Claire Fincher Harrison

BIG SPRING, Texas — A memorial service for Bess Claire Fincher Harrison, 79, of Big Spring is set for 10 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Big Spring. The Rev. Flynn Long will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Myers and Smith Funeral Home in Big Spring.
Mrs. Harrison died Monday at Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring.
She was born in Dallas, and graduated from Oak Cliff High School in Dallas. Mrs. Harrison was active in U.S. figure skating. She was comptroller for the Center for a Human Future at Syracuse University. She was previously from College Station.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. John G. (Jack) Harrison of Big Spring; a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Jill Nabors and Paul of Big Spring; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew.
