TRINITY — Services for Max Thomas Yeary Jr., 59, of Trinity are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo.
The Rev. James “Jim” Parish of Burning Hope Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Buffalo Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Yeary died Friday.
He was born in Middlesborough, Ky., and lived in Trinity for three years. Mr. Yeary was an auto mechanic and served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Yeary of Trinity, and a brother, William Yeary of Middlesborough, Ky.
Gertrude Brooks

Services for Gertrude Brooks, 66, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Martin Luther King Church of Christ in Bryan.
Brother Cornell Nealy will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
Mrs. Brooks died Saturday at home.
She was born in Bryan and was a member of Martin Luther King Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, William Brooks of Bryan; five sons, Kelvin Brooks and Larry Brooks, both of Bryan, and Charles Brooks, Darrell Brooks and Victor Brooks, all of Kansas City, Mo.; five daughters, Sharon Charles, Tamika Brooks and Cynthia Jones, all of Kansas City, Benita Johnson of Wawkegam, Ill., and Patricia Hines of Bryan; a brother, John D. Hall of Houston; and two sisters, Dianne Hall Lewis and Nilta Dugas, both of Houston.
Memorials may be made to the Martin Luther King Church of Christ.

Services for Mary Emma Love, 66, of Dallas are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at G.W. Tabernacle Building in Bryan.
The Rev. Tommy L. Ross of Castle Heights Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Smetana Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
Mrs. Love died Monday in Dallas.
She was born in Brazos County. She attended John L. Moore School and lived in Dallas for 18 years. Mrs. Love was a homemaker and a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Love.
Survivors include three sons, Louis Alfred Love Jr. and Gearry D. Love Sr., both of Bryan, and Chalres Love of Dallas; three daughters, Jean Parnell, Carolyn Love Jackson and Ida Love Henderson, all of Bryan; nine brothers, Marion Johnson of Independence, James Arthur Johnson of Fairfield, Eugene Johnson, Charles Johnson and John H. Johnson, all of Dallas, Mitchell Lee Johnson of Bryan, Curtis Payton and Leroy Payton, both of Poma, Calif., and Delano Payton of Beaumont; a brother-in-law, John Love, and his wife, Doreatha, of Houston; eight sisters, Lou Willie Rattler of Dallas, Cecelle Jackson of Lubbock, Mary Ruth Payton and Marva King, both of San Antonio, Shirley McMillian, Lazell Curry, Mildred Payton and Lillie Pearl Harris, all of Bryan; two sisters-in-law, Florence Love of Dallas and Geneva Coleman of Houston; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
Myrtle Ann Cluck

CAMERON — Graveside services for Mrs. Myrtle Ann Cluck, 94, of Lewisville and formerly of Cameron are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.
Dr. Dan Darby will officiate.
Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mrs. Cluck died Thursday in a Lewisville Hospital. She was a member of Trietch United Methodist Church in Lewisville, the Garden Club of Lewisville, the Home Exterior Club of Lewisville and Highland Village Women’s Club.
Mrs. Cluck attended C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron and lived there until 1944 when she moved to Texas City. She lived there until moving to Lewisville in 1979.
Mrs. Cluck was preceded in death by her husband, Belmont Cluck.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Pauline Cluck Arnold of Lewisville and Doris Cluck and Charles Knappenberger of Lewisville; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Gabe McNeal

NAVASOTA — Services for Gabe McNeal, 69, of Navasota are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in Navasota.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Navasota.
Mr. McNeal died Monday at Grimes St. Joseph.
He was born in Grimes County and was a laborer. He was a member of the Chrisitan Homeworkers Association.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann Paldo and Henry Williams; a sister, Bessie Edwards of Fort Worth; and four grandchildren.
Henry F. ‘Uncle Henry’ Cone

MINERVA — Services for Henry F. “Uncle Henry” Cone, 70, of Minerva are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial will be in the Minerva Cemetery.

Mr. Cone died Tuesday at Manor Oaks Nursing Home in Rockdale.
He was born in Milam County and was a lifetime resident of Minerva. He was a farmer and rancher, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Minerva.
Survivors include four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Willard and Ruth Cone of Minerva, Roger B. Cone of Temple, Emmett Lee Cone of Waco and Conway and Emma Cone of Minerva; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marie Dyer of Rockdale and Lucille and F.L. Sutton of LaBelle, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruby Lee Meier

Services for Ruby Lee Meier, 72, of College Station are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at College Heights Assembly of God Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Tommy Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in the College Station City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mrs. Meier died Thursday in Boise, Idaho.
She was born in the Birdsong community of Burleson County. She grew up in the community of Birch and lived in College Station for 52 years. Mrs. Meier worked for the A&M Consolidated School District cafeterias and was a member of the College Heights Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Meier.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dennis and Donna Meier of Boise, Idaho, and Jerry Meier of Irving; a brother and sister-in-law, Alton and Esther Poehl of Somerville; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Martha and Harmon Peters of Brazoria and Laverne Smalley of Somerville; and one grandchiild.

Mrs. Allen died Tuesday at Cypress Fairbanks Hospital in Houston.
She was born in Ballinger and grew up in Burleson County. She was a retired security guard.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Floyd C. Jr. and Rebecca Allen and Alvin A. Allen, all of Houston; two daughters and a son-in-law, Betty Mays of Spring and Barbara A. and Steven Collins of Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Joseph “Joe” Martinez Jr.

NAVASOTA — Services for Joseph “Joe” Martinez Jr., 57, of Navasota are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to the time of services Saturday at Nobles Funeral Chapel.
A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Martinez died Wednesday at Grimes St. Joseph Health Center.
He was born in Bryan and was a driver for Frank’s Towing.

Mrs. Baker died Wednesday at home.
She was born in the Russell community of Leon County. She worked as a custodian at the Centerville High School and Centerville Elementary School for 12 years and was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Baker.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Willis Jr. and Dorothy Baker of Crockett, Earl Henry and Ambree Baker and Marshall Ray and Doris Ann Baker, all of Houston; a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn Marie and William McCullough of Centerville; four brothers, Daniel West of Centerville and Ernest, Clemon and Willie West, all of Houston; four sisters, Dorothy Hopkins of Centerville and Faye Randolph, Laura Crowe and Velma Jones, all of Houston.
