Stella May Meadors

FRANKLIN — Services for Stella May Meadors, 95, of Franklin are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.
Karl Whitworth of Bremond will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Meadows died Wednesday in Bryan.
She was born in the Camp Creek community in Robertson County and was a longtime resident of Franklin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Franklin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Berl Meadors.
Survivors include three sons, John C. Meadors of New Baden, Rayburn Meadors of Montgomery and Weldon Meadors of Houston; two daughters, Verna Franks and Veda Flanagan, both of Hearne; a sister, Selma Meadors of Franklin; a daughter-in-law, Ila Fay Meadors of Franklin; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchldren.
Claribel Carrington Andrew
June 15, 1904 — March 6, 2002
A memorial service for Claribel Carrington Andrew, 97, of Bryan is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Bryan.
Dr. Tim Owens will officiate.
Mrs. Andrew died Wednesday at Crestview Nursing Center.
She was born in Caldwell and was a longtime resident of Bryan. Mrs. Andrew was a teacher who received her bachelor’s degree from Mary Hardin Baylor University and her master’s degree from Sam Houston State University. She was a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association, The Woman’s Club and the First Baptist Church of Bryan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William H. Andrew.
Survivors include a sister, Martha C. Griffith of Temple.

Ida Marie Niemann
Oct. 9, 1899 — March 7, 2002
FRANKLIN — Services for Ida Marie Niemann, 102, of Franklin are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in New Baden.
The Revs. Dwain Steinkuhler of Bryan and Brent Ballew of New Baden will officiate. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin and from 10 a.m. to the time of services Saturday at the First Baptist Church in New Baden.
Mrs. Niemann died Thursday in Franklin. She was born in Williamson County, attended Taylor School and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Niemann.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Rosalie and Earl Cazey of Franklin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Arnold and Dorothy Niemann of Montgomery and Clarence and Annita Niemann of East Bernard; 18 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Rosa Lee Lewis

TUNIS — Services for Rosa Lee Lewis, 99, of Tunis are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Old Bethlehem Baptist Church.
The Rev. A.L. Ross will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
Mrs. Lewis died Tuesday at College Station Medical Center.
She was born in Burleson County and was a member of the Old Bethlehem Church Choir and Mission Society.
Survivors include three sons, Chester “John” Cooper, Willie “Nie” Louis and Arnester “Peter” Johns; three daughters, Armelia Robinson, Leona Hornsby and Lee Willie Jefferson; a brother-in-law, Joe Lister; 37 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; and 58 great-great-grandchildren.
Margaret Pamelia Bland

CALDWELL — Services for Margaret Pamelia Bland, 86, of Caldwell are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Mrs. Bland died Wednesday at the Caldwell Nursing Center.
She was born in Rockdale and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Bland.

BUFFALO — Services for Audrey May Allbritton, 72, of Centerville are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Buffalo Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allbritton died Thursday in the East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.
She was born in Leon County and formerly lived in Conroe prior to moving to Centerville. She was a homemaker, a seamstress and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe L. Pate and G.T. Allbritton; and a son, Gary Lee Pate.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Lynn and Earline Pate of Buffalo and Robbie and Pam Pate of Mount Pleasant; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ruby Mae Brannen of Bremen, Ga., Janie and David Lynch of The Woodlands and Thelma “T.J.” and Kelly Webb of Buffalo; three brothers, Albert Shaw and Frank Shaw, both of Oakwood, and Edward Shaw of Centerville; a sister, Eunice Carrigan of Centerville; five grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Delfino Barron Sr.

Services for Delfino Barron Sr., 58, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Victor Robles of Santa Teresa Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Barron died Thursday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was born in Villa Juarez, Mexico, and lived in Bryan for three years. He was a construction worker and was a member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Josefina Barron of Bryan; and four sons, Denaciono Barron, Fernando Barron and Jesus Barron, all of Mexico, and Delfino Barron Jr. of Bryan.
Virginia Kay ‘Duck’ Bell Davis
BRENHAM — Services for The Rev. Virginia Kay “Duck” Bell Davis, 46, of Brenham are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Brenham.
The Rev. Danny Cloud will officiate. Burial will be in H.I.C. Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Taft Harris Funeral Home in Brenham.
Rev. Davis died Monday.
Survivors include two sons, Jacquay Bell and the Rev. Danny Davis; four sisters, Carol Chambers, the Rev. Georgia Eggleston, Joan Bell Thomas and the Rev. Suzanne Wilson; a brother, Demonderick Bradford; two grandchildren; five nieces; three nephews; and numerous other relatives.
Lisa Gail Johnson
BRENHAM — Services for Lisa Gail Johnson, 29, of Washington are set for noon Saturday at the Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Washington.
The Rev. F. J. Williams will officiate. Burial will be in The Hall Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Taft Harris Funeral Home in Brenham.
Ms. Johnson died Saturday.
Survivors include her mother, Mildred Milam; a sister and brother-in-law, Gwendolyn and Joe L. Howard Jr.; a brother, Tom Johnson; a niece; and numerous other relatives.
