HOUSTON — Services for Stephen A. Kologinczak Sr., 86, of Houston are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Assumption Catholic Church in Houston.
Burial will be in Forest Park Lawndale.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home in Houston.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Kologinczak died Sunday.
James M. Lindsey
July 3, 1913 — April 20, 2002
Graveside services for James M. Lindsey, 88, of Bryan are set for 1 p.m. Thursday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Devine, Texas.
Rodney Ward, Douglas Ward and Greg Tunnell will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Lindsey died Saturday in St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Frio County, Texas, and was retired from the Bureau of Census as a status agriculture economist. He received a bachelor of science degree from Texas A&M University and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Devine.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Love Lindsey.
Survivors include two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Billy W. and Margaret Ward of Milford, Texas, and Rodney and Penny Ward of Madisonville; three brothers, Harvey Lindsey of San Antonio, Steve Lindsey of Lockhart, Texas, and Jesse M. Lindsey of Pearsall, Texas; a sister, Lucille Huie of Pearsall; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Patsy Josey Parks
GASTONIA, N.C. — Services for Patsy Josey Parks, 66, of Gastonia were held Saturday at Covenant United Methodist Church in Gastonia.
The Rev. David Mason officiated. Burial was in Gaston Memorial Park.
Arrangements were under the direction of Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
Mrs. Parks died Wednesday at her home.
She was a native of Bryan and was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. She was a member of the VFW Woman’s Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse Lee Parks Jr. of Gastonia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Lee and Bobbie Jo Parks and James Douglas and Kathy Parks, all of Gastonia; two daughters and a son-in-law, Pamela Parks and Tammy and Billy Wayne Messer, all of Gastonia; a brother, James Josey of Bryan; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jewel Ona Rhodes

MADISONVILLE — Graveside services for Jewel Ona Rhodes, 93, of Madisonville are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rayburn Cemetery in Madison County.
Lanier Stevens will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Madisonville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rhodes died Monday in Madison St. Joseph Health Center.
She was born in Madisonville and lived most of her life in Madison County. She lived in Houston from 1972 to 1997. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hayes Rhodes; and a son, J.L. Rhodes Jr.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Lyndal Annette Edwards of Madisonville, and Paula and Oscar Garcia of Houston; three sisters-in-law, Sarah Rhodes and Robbie Manning, both of Madisonville, and Beth Rhodes of Angleton; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Stephen F. Salamon
May 15, 1902 — April 21, 2002
Services for Stephen F. Salamon, 99, Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Wood-Kortright Chapel in Ravenna, Ohio.
The Rev. Howard Bensen will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Salamon died Sunday in College Station.
He was born in Austria, Hungary, and lived in Bryan since 1978. He was a former longtime resident of Ravenna. He was employed by Standard Oil Company of Ohio for many years prior to his retirement in 1962. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Bryan.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Salamon of Bryan; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Karen Salamon of Bryan; a sister, Tess Heinz of Little Falls, N.J.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Geneva Lee Towns
Feb. 5, 1923 — April 21, 2002
Services for Geneva Lee Towns, 79, of Hearne are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Hearne.
The Rev. Larry Blackmon of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Franklin City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan and from 8:30 a.m. to the time of the services Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Towns died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Franklin and lived most of her life in Hearne. She was a homemaker and was a member of many bowling leagues in Brazos County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hearne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwood Towns.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Carol Towns of Bryan, Randy and Debbie Towns of Little Elm, Texas, and Cris and Deborah Towns of Carrollton, Texas; a sister, Lois McMahon of Bremond; a brother-in-law, Douglas Ferrill of Temple; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Towns of Katy, Texas; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Gladys Merchant of College Station; and seven grandchildren.
Jonathan Cade Adams
Jonathan Cade Adams 22 died Saturday April 6, 2002 in Minden, Louisiana from injuries sustained in an airplane crash. Jonathan was born in Bryan, Texas October 9, 1979. His father Cade Adams was a military science professor at Texas A&M, as well as director of the Student Information Management System. The family were active members of First Baptist Church of Bryan.The family moved to his mom’s hometown in Washington State in 1985. Jonathan graduated from Skyview High School in Vancouver, Washington in 1998. Jonathan was a very active participant in the music programs, student government and church activities during his years in Vancouver. As a teen
he served for three years as an instructor at the Oregon Space Flight Academy. Jonathan had the reputation of a guy who makes things happen. His long-term goal was to become a missionary pilot with Mission Aviation Fellowship.
Jonathan was a senior at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. He was riding as a passenger in a vintage single-engine T-34B naval training aircraft. Jonathan was a pilot with advanced certification and a passion for aviation. Jonathan was the owner operator of the municipal airport in Homer, Louisiana and the Manager of the municipal airport in Minden, Louisiana.
Jonathan will always be missed by his parents Cade and Jan Adams, his brother Justin Adams who currently reside at 12205 NW 10th Avenue Vancouver, WA 98685. His enthusiastic zest for life which was both contagious and compelling will also be treasured by so many he had befriended both in the North Louisiana area and in his hometown of Vancouver. Memorial services were held in Ruston, Louisiana on Tuesday April 9th at Temple Baptist Church Chapel and also Saturday April 13th in Vancouver, Washington at New Heights Church. Sedora Mae Jackson

Services for Sedora Mae Jackson, 88, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Friday at White Rock Baptist Church. Bro. Vernon Ray Watson will officiate. Burial will be in the White Rock Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hillier Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jackson died Sunday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Bald Prairie, Texas, and was a child care provider and homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bryan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex M. Jackson.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Rex and Shirley Jackson of Bryan; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and David Hunter of Ferris, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Calvin and Sibil Morehead of Bremond; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Juanita and Jack Brantner of Houston and Christine Freeman of Bremond; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Annie Mae McCown

Graveside services for Annie Mae McCown, 96, of Bryan are set for 3 p.m. Saturday at the Kerens City Cemetery in Kerens, Texas. Jimmy Glenn of Kerens Church of Christ will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Paschal Funeral Home in Kerens.
Mrs. McCown died Monday at the College Station Medical Center.
She was born in the Round Prairie community in Navarro County and lived in Bryan for more than 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buney A. McCown.
Survivors include a son, Fred McCown of Los Angeles.

Peggy Newton Tracy

HUNTSVILLE —Memorial services for Peggy Newton Tracy, 55, of Huntsville are set for 1 p.m. Thursday at Cozart Funeral Chapel in Normangee. The Rev. Ross Newton of Flynn Baptist Church will officiate.
Mrs. Tracy died Monday at her home.
She was born in Bryan and lived in Huntsville for 10 years. She graduated from Madisonville High School and Sam Houston College.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Linda Hall of Bedias; a brother, Bobby Joe Newton of Madisonville; five grandchildren; and many cousins.
