Services for the Rev. H.G. Wallace Sr., 75, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at New Chapel Baptist Church in Bryan.
The Rev. V.A. Haynes will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
The Rev. Wallace died Friday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was born in Normangee and was a longtime resident of Bryan. He was a minister and a member of the New Chapel Baptist Church. The Rev. Wallace also served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Wallace of Bryan; four sons, Herbert Wallace Jr. of Bryan, Charles Wallace of Austin, Paul Wallace of Denver, Colo., and Wayne Wallace of Tacoma, Wash.; three daughters, Dorothy Gray of Brookshire, JoAnn Carter of Wilmington, N.C., and Annette Jones of Temple; a brother, Robert Wallace of San Diego; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Bertha Crawford

HOUSTON — Services for Bertha Crawford, 92, of Houston are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church.
The Rev. Larry T. Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the Roan Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Jones-Washington Mortuary.
Mrs. Crawford died Sunday in Houston.
She was born in Brazos County. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and the Missionary Society and Church Senior Choir. She attended Sunday school.
Survivors include a daughter, Lue Hazel Robertson of Houston; a sister, Franzie Nutall of Los Angeles; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Joseph Wesley Miller
Nov. 21, 1912 — April 2, 2002
HILLTOP LAKES — Services for Joseph Wesley Miller, 89, of Hilltop Lakes are set for 11 a.m. Friday at Hilltop Lakes Chapel.
Dr. Chuck Isbell and Dr. Bob Kristensen will officiate.
Inurnment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Miller died Tuesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was born in Saratoga, Texas, and lived in Hilltop Lakes for the past 36 years. He was a member of Hilltop Lakes Chapel and served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Africa and Europe.
Survivors include his wife, Laurice Miller of Hilltop Lakes; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Kent Anderson of Dallas; and a sister, Vannie Dzilsky of Baytown.

Laura Dodgen

Services for Laura Dodgen, 57, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Gary Bagley will officiate. Burial will be in the College Station Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mrs. Dodgen died Wednesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Georgia and lived in Bryan for 33 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Norma Dodgen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Christopher and Laura Dodgen of San Antonio; two daughters, Karen Zabcik of Woodland Park, Colo., and Catherine Dodgen of Dover, Del.; two sisters, Marion Jordon and Jackie Kaiser, both of Florida; and seven grandchildren.

Stella M. Chandler Williams

JEWETT — Services for Stella M. Chandler Williams, 92, of Jewett are set for 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Jewett.
The Revs. James Engle of First Baptist Church and Billy Bob Evans of Marquez Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery on F.M. 1512.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to noon Friday at Ricks Bowers Funeral Home in Jewett.
Mrs. Williams died Wednesday in Corsicana.
She was born in Farrar, Texas, was a graduate of Farrar High School and lived in Farrar and Jewett. She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Texas Extension Education Association for more than 50 years.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Alton H. and Juanita Chandler of Mexia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Delilah Bradley

BREMOND — Graveside services for Delilah Bradley, 93, of Bremond are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Bremond Cemetery. The Rev. Stan Ortner of First Baptist Church in Bremond will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bremond Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bradley died Thursday at Falls Community Hospital in Marlin.
She was born in Kosse and was a member of First Baptist Church in Bremond and a business owner.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Allen of Bremond; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Sarah Skrivanek
June 4, 1913 — April 4, 2002
ROCKDALE — Services for Sarah Skrivanek, 88, of Rockdale are set for 10 a.m. Monday at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Rockdale. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
The Rev. Paul Kethley of St. John’s United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Mrs. Skrivanek died Thursday at her home.
She was born in Cameron and was a 1931 graduate of Yoe High School in Cameron. Mrs. Skrivanek began nursing school in Taylor and transferred to Cameron Hospital to earn her R.N. there in 1934. She was a registered nurse for Dr. Barklry in Rockdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Skrivanek.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Virgil and Bea Turner of Seguin, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews from the Turner and Skrivanek families.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to St. John’s United Methodist Church.
Angela Cook

THORNDALE — Services for Angela Cook, 45, of Thorndale are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Thorndale. Elder Rodney Patterson will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Mrs. Cook died Wednesday in Seton Northwest Hospital in Austin.
She was born in the Liberty Hill community and was a lifetime resident of Thorndale. She was a material coordinator with Westinghouse in Round Rock for 23 years.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil D. Cook of Thorndale; three daughters, Latoya Cook and Bridget Cook, both of Thorndale, and Latanya Cook of Coppell.
