William Robert ‘Bill’ Suda III

CALDWELL — Memorial services for William Robert “Bill” Suda III, 82, of Caldwell are set for 6 p.m. Monday at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Caldwell.
The Rev. Mitch Maley will officiate.
Mr. Suda died Sunday at his home.
He was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and was retired from the real estate business.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Marcelle Suda of Caldwell; a son and daughter-in-law, William Robert “Rocky” IV and Carol Suda of Austin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn Suda and Gary E. Brown of Martin, Tenn., and Pamela Gayle Suda and Joseph M. Stoltman of Austin; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley.
Frances Gossett Turner
Aug. 16, 1913 — Nov. 24, 2002
NACOGDOCHES — Memorial services for Frances Gossett Turner, 89, of Nacogdoches are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Nacogdoches.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Restland Cemetery in Dallas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home in Nacogdoches.
Mrs. Turner died Sunday in Lufkin.
She was born in Celina and graduated from North Texas State University with a bachelor of science degree in 1935. She was a life member of the First United Methodist Women in Bryan-College Station and was the first woman to serve on the College Station Methodist Church Board in the 1950s.
She was a charter member of the P.E.O. Chapter 136 in Bryan-College Station and remained a member for more than 60 years. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Nacogdoches Symphony Club and the First United Methodist Church in Nacogdoches.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William “Bill” Turner.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John W. and Betty Turner of Houston; and a granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the William M. Turner Fund in the College of Fine Arts at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches or to a charity of choice.
Margaret Kiel Fritsch
July 17, 1911 — Nov. 22, 2002
PASADENA — Memorial services for Margaret Kiel Fritsch, 91, of Pasadena are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Pasadena.
Arrangements are under the direction of Deer Park Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Fritsch died Friday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Charles Fritsch.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Lowery and Laurie Tingley of College Station; a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sylvia Fritsch of Pasadena; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Helen Sutherland and Ora Nell and Herbert Schmidt, all of Seguin, and Jackie and J.D. Simpson of Oklahoma City; two sisters-in-law, Edith Kiel of Seguin and Mamie Fritsch of Fayetteville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Hinze

NAVASOTA — Services for Mary Hinze, 90, of Washington are set for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Friedens Church of Washington, U.C.C.
The Rev. Ron Trimmer of Friedens Church of Washington, U.C.C., will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
Mrs. Hinze died Sunday in Rockdale.
She was born in Washington and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Washington Sons of Hermann, the Friedens Women’s Fellowship and Friedens Church of Washington, U.C.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hinze.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Don R. and Joan Hinze of Washington; a granddaughter; three nieces; and two nephews.

Willie Edward ‘Bill’ Odom

BRENHAM — Services for Willie Edward “Bill” Odom, 76, of Brenham are set for 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
The Rev. Blair Lundborg will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Odom died Monday in Brenham.
He was born in Lockhart and was retired as a supervisor in road and bridge maintenance.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jonell Smith Odom of Brenham; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Linda and James Hurst and Glenda and John Lawrence, all of Navasota, Barbara Merchant of Brenham and Connie and Guy Sears of Somerville; a son and daughter-in-law, William H. “Bill” and Eva Odom of Brenham; two brothers, Major Earl Odom of Longview and Arthur Allen Odom of Rolla, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Alice Moon Rothgeb

Memorial services for Alice Moon Rothgeb, 94, of Bryan are set for 2:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Crestview Retirement Community Chapel.

Mrs. Rothgeb died Saturday at Crestview Retirement Community.
She was born in Hamilton County, Ind., and lived in Bryan since 1999. She was a resident of Bradenton, Fla., before moving to Bryan. She was retired as an elementary school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Earl A. Rothgeb.
Survivors include a stepson and daughter-in-law, Paul and Linda Rothgeb of Corpus Christi; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Carol and the Rev. Glenn Kohlhepp of Bryan; and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Delores Ann Shafer

CAMERON — Services for Delores Ann Shafer, 60, of Gause are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
The Rev. Jimmy Sanders will officiate. Burial will be in the Gause Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Shafer died Monday in a Franklin nursing home.
She was born in Elroy, Wis., and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, James Shafer of Gause; three sons, Raymond Collins of Gause, Eugene Collins of Caldwell and Warren Collins of Cameron; her mother, Dorothy Shesler of Gause; six brothers, Victor Shesler of Grand Prairie, Dale Shesler and Allen Shesler, both of Gause, Curtis Shesler and Wayne Shesler, both of Cameron, and Alvin Shesler of San Antonio; a sister, Vata Johnson of Gause; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Yvonne Bacy Alonzo

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Services for Yvonne Bacy Alonzo, 63, of New Brunswick are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope Baptist Church in Rockdale.
Burial will be in the New Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. The Rev. Lawrence W. Bacy will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Ms. Alonzo died Saturday in New Brunswick.
She was born in Rockdale and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a licensed practical nurse with Senior Citizens Home for 30 years. Ms. Alonzo was also a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Darryl L. Bacy of Fort Bragg, N.C.; a daughter, Petra Lynn Bacy of New Brunswick; two brothers, Willie R. Bacy of El Paso and Lawrence W. Bacy of Oklahoma City; five sisters, Paralee Timmes of Austin, Claudia Rosser of Midland, Lillian Jones of Houston, Johnnie R. Parker of Oklahoma City, and Marion Stowers of Houston; and two grandchildren.
Jack Hobson Bouldin

PLANTERSVILLE — Jack Hobson Bouldin, 53, of Plantersville died last Wednesday at his home.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Bouldin was born in Navasota and was a firefighter and jailer.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, W.H. and Kate Newsom of Houma, La.; two brothers, Arthur Lee Bouldin Jr. of The Woodlands and Kriss Newsom Bouldin; and one nephew.
