Sally Gray
Sally Gray, 73, went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2005. She was a life long resident of Baytown. She and her husband were owners of Gray’s Fish Camp in Baytown and Gray’s Mobile Home Park in Cove. Sally was a member of Central Baptist Church, she loved Geneology, computers, outdoors and being Doctor mom. She raised many kids through the years and was a caregiver for many family members and friends. She opened her heart to those that needed it.
Sally was preceded in death by her son, Donald Wayne Gray; parents, Lee and Lottie Jordan and sisters, Clarece Corley and Betty Forrest.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Walter “Skeeter” Gray of Baytown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Walter “Hot Shot” and Darlene Gray of Baytown and Calvin and Marilyn Gray of Baytown, daughter and son-in-law, Deana and BooBoo Fojt of Baytown; brother, Donald Lee Jordan of San Antonio; grandchildren, Sheila Melton, Kassity Fojt, Charlie Fojt, Jordan Fojt, Julie Gray, Calvin Gray, Jr., Glendon Gray, Shane Gray, Dewey Gray, Joe Gray, Kyle Gray, Travis Wilson, Matthew Walker and Rachel Walker; great-grandchildren, Haley Melton and Ryan Melton.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, April, 21, 2005 at Earthman Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2005 at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James Rosser officiating.
A Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2005 at Jordan Cemetery in Batson, TX.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Music will be provided by Mrs. Gray’s granddaughter, Kassity Fojt.

Herbert Ronald (Ron) Kramer
Herbert Ronald (Ron) Kramer known as Ron, Coach, Dad, Gramps, entered into eternal rest on April 19, 2005. Ron was born on October 22, 1936 to Charles and Adair Kramer in Freeport, Texas. He graduated from Brazosport High School where he lettered in football and baseball. He attended Del Mar Junior College and graduated from Rice University having the distinction of playing on the last Rice football team to play in the Cotton Bowl. Ron’s entire career was with G.C.C.I.S.D. He came to Robert E. Lee in 1959 as an assistant football and swimming coach. He followed in the footsteps of Pete Sultis and became the Ganders’ head football coach in 1968, a position he held until 1985 when he became Athletic Director for G.C.C.I.S.D. He retired from the school district in 1991. Ron is a former member and director of the Texas High School Coaches Association; the Rotary Club of Baytown, which honored him as a Paul Harris Fellow, a member of the Goose Creek Masonic Lodge #1192, A.F. & A.M., and a director of the Baytown Teachers Credit Union. His integrity and dedication have served as an influence to mold the lives of many young men as coach and mentor. Family, football, fishing, and hunting framed his life through the years. In his retirement years, Ron enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs. Ron is survived by his wife, Merla; sons, Kyle Kramer and wife, Jane of Guilford, CT, Scott Kramer and wife, Claire of Houston, TX; two grandchildren, Olivia and Philip of Guilford, CT; father-in-law, Lewis Riddle of Mt. Pleasant, TX; Aunt, Willie Beall Davis of Freeport, TX; brother, Charles Kramer and wife, Doris of Pasadena, , TX; nieces, Kay and Jay Smith of Houston, Debbie and Greg Sherry, LouAnn and Doug Martin, all of La Porte; nephew, Mark and Stephanie Kramer of La Porte. He is also survived by his coaching family from Robert E. Lee and several extended families of Baytown and Ingram, TX. Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the Memorial Baptist Church will be officiated by Rev. Roy Parker. Pallbearers: Buddy Barber, Gene Bosse, Tristan Hancock, Bob Kalbitz, Mark Kramer, Billy Ripley, Karl Scantlen, and Tommy Yates. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Gander coaching family and former Gander football players. Interment at the Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family from 6-8 p.m., Wed., April 20th at the Memorial Baptist Church, 600 W. Sterling, Baytown, TX. Herbin ‘T’ Molbert
Our dear Opa, Herbin “T” Molbert, went to fight another battle April 17, 2005. He died at home with his only love, Wilma at his side. Born in Avery Island, LA, he embraced his Cajun heritage while growing up and living in Port Arthur TX. He lived in Baytown for the last three years. He served in WW II for 3 1/2 years. He was an attorney who truly loved the law and enjoyed 20 years as municipal judge for the city of Groves He found great joy in his children and grandchildren and never lost his thirst for knowledge.
His wife of 32 years is Wilma Molbert. His daughters and son-in-laws are: Vivian and Tom Conway of Austin, TX, Ann and Jack Hodge, Dublin, GA, and Caroline and Rob Johnston of Baytown, TX. His grandchildren are Christine and Elizabeth Johnston of Baytown, TX, and Katarina and John Braxton Hodge of Dublin, GA.
He has four living sisters: Barbara Jean Greer, Melba Bernard, Anna Isabel Leblanc, and Mary Lee. His brothers and sisters-in-laws are Wilbert and Rosemarie Molbert and Huesville and Jane Molbert. T’s parents, Eula and Huesville Molbert, and Brothers Dan and Leroy died years ago.
Pallbearers are T’s beloved nephews: Ricky Molbert, Ronnie Molbert, David Molbert, Tommy Bernard, Joe Greer, Douglas Greer, and David Greer.
A prayer service will be shared on Thursday April 21 at Earthman Funeral Home. The service will begin at 7 pm, but the Chapel will be open at 6 pm to celebrate T’s life. Pastor Bonnie Parker will officiate.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday April 22, at 11 am with Father Bennie Patillo officiating at St Elizabeth Catholic Church 2004 Nall, Port Neches.

Muriel Raphael
Muriel Raphael, 87, of Highlands, Texas, died on April 18, 2005 at St. James House, Baytown, TX. She was born on October 24, 1917, in Couva, Trinidad. She resided in Baytown for 26 years.
Mrs. Raphael is preceded in death by parents Hugh Cox and Eugenia Lovell, husband; Wilfred Raphael and son-in-law; Fitzgerald Collymore.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Sons; Kurt and wife Rodesha Raphael of California, Gerald Raphael of Maryland, Michael & wife Vere Raphael of Trinidad.
Daughters: Torry & Francis Richards of Baytown, TX., Jennifer Smith, June Collymore of Highlands, Prunella Franklyn of Canada. Sister: Pearl Cleshorn of Florida, 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

Larry Wayne Arnold
Larry Wayne Arnold, 51, of Wallisville, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. He was born March 22, 1954 in Pasadena to parents Dave Arnold and the late Lucille Molen “Granny” Arnold. He was a 33 year resident of Wallisville, previously lived in Baytown where he graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School in 1972, and was a computer operator. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel in Anahuac with Rev. Richard Hensley officiating. Cremation will follow at Mr. Arnold’s request. Jennifer Strickland
Jennifer Strickland, 59, of Baytown was born February 11, 1946 in Baytown and passed away Saturday, April 16, 2005 at her home. She was a 1963 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending her grandkids ballgames, and late night shopping at Wal-Mart. She loved cats and even fed neighborhood cats that did not belong to her.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Evelyn Jones and is survived by her husband, Rudy Strickland of Baytown; son, Steve Strickland of Huffman, daughters and son-in-law, Steffani and Russ Capps of La Porte and Kristina Strickland of Baytown; and grandchildren, Minnie Strickland and Cory Capps. Janie Babin DeShong
Janie Babin DeShong, 85, of Pearland, formerly Baytown, was born September 30, 1919 in Shreveport, LA and passed away Friday, April 15, 2005 in a Pearland nursing home. She was a very active member of Cedar Bayou United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also a past member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the XYZ Senior Group.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Bayou United Methodist Church with Rev. Dann Miller and Rev. Tommy Lyles officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.

Alfred Foy Brown
Alfred Foy Brown passed away Sunday, April 17, 2005, in a Houston hospital. He was born April 29, 1918 in Forest, Texas. He retired with the U. S. Navy and served his country during WWII and Korea. He was a Pearl Harbor Survivor and a member of First Baptist Church in Highlands.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Mildred Brown of Baytown and daughter, Pat Meeker and her husband Howard Kramer.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, 10:00 am at Navarre Chapel with Rev. Tim Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be the Deacons at First Baptist Church and Howard Kramer.

Kevin Luke
Kevin Luke, 38 of Highlands, passed away Friday, April 15, 2005 at the Liberty-Dayton Hospital in Liberty. He was born December 8, 1966 in Fort Pierce, Florida to parents Lonnie C. Luke and Peggy Luke. He was a self-employed welder, bull-rider and bull-fighter, enjoyed the rodeo, fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Trinity Tabernacle and attended the Radiant Ministries in Baytown. Kevin was also on the Grounds Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and a 1986 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday April 20, 2005 at the Sterling White Chapel Funeral Home in Highlands with Rev. Franklin McCorkle; Pastor Calloway and Rev. Adell Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday April 19, 2005 at Sterling White Chapel.
