FRANKLIN — Services for Robert Ray Kohrs, 72, of Franklin are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.
Gary Richards of Brenham will officiate. Burial will be in the Henry Prairie Cemetery near Franklin.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Kohrs died Saturday at his home.
He was born in Elmdale, Kan., and lived in Robertson County for 23 years. He previously lived in Spring. He attended Kansas State University and was retired as manager of an automobile dealership. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Kay Kohrs of Franklin; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Beverly Bishop of Las Vegas, Nev., Bonnie and David Buchanan of Mesquite, Brenda and Randy Holopirek of Burditt, Kan., and Terri Kohrs of Concordia, Kan.; a son, Robert R. Kohrs Jr. of Lindsborg, Kan.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Dorothy McMullen

Services for Dorothy McMullen, 67, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Stearne Chapel AME Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Hillary Jones of Stearne Chapel AME Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
Mrs. McMullen died Thursday at her home.
She was born in Taylor and lived in Bryan five years. She was a homemaker and was a member of Stearne Chapel AME Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer McMullen.
Survivors include her companion, Roger Cox of Bryan; a son and daughter-in-law, Howard McMullen and Roslynn Wyatt of Dallas; six daughters and three sons-in-law, Sammie Banks of Temple, Sheena McMullen of Waco, Juanita McMullen of Bangs, Kayle McMullen and Loisie Cooper Jr. and Freddie McMullen and Arthur Green, all of Bryan, and Julie and Kenneth Freeman of Huntsville; a brother, Gene Taylor of Clifton, Colo.; two sisters, Flossie Jefferson of Dallas and Billie Black of Lubbock; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Angelyn Motl Watson

FRANKLIN — Services for Angelyn Motl Watson, 93, of Franklin are set for 11 a.m. Monday at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Watson died Friday at her home.
She was born in Seymore and lived in Franklin for 20 years. She was a retired dietitian supervisor employed with the Sinton I.S.D. She was a Methodist.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard “Dick” Watson of Franklin and Don and Mary Watson of The Woodlands; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams died Wednesday at College Station Medical Center.
She was born in Grimes County and was a lifelong resident of Bryan. She was retired and was a member of Truevine Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Mission and was the No. 1 usher on the usher board.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Williams Sr. of Bryan; four sons, Frank Gooden, M.C. Scott and Robert Earl Scott, all of Bryan, and Fred Williams Jr. of Jonesboro, Ark.; a daughter, Irene Ridley of Houston; a brother, John Henry Gooden of Dallas; a sister, Stella Mae Gooden of San Antonio; 24 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Alberta Mensik Ayers

Services for Alberta Mensik Ayers, 72, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

Mrs. Ayers died Sunday at her home.
She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was retired as an associate at the College Station Wal-Mart. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, H. Raymond Ayers of Bryan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Lola Ayers of Bryan and Lawrence and Denise Ayers of San Antonio; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Kitchens died Saturday in Bryan.
He was born in Hillsboro and lived in Bryan since 1967. He was a machinist for the Texas Engineering Experiment Station at Texas A&M University and retired in 1993 after 27 years of service. He was also a roofer, specializing in wood shingles. After his retirement, he helped others as a ranch hand.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roy and Janet Kitchens of Houston and John Kitchens of Bryan; two daughters, Rita Kay Vernon of Bryan and Kathleen Lauw of Willis; a brother, Bill Kitchens of Sacramento, Calif.; four sisters, Lola Taylor and Helen Hunt, both of Sacramento, Margie Putman and Marie Bobbett, both of Houston; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Alida Cordes Williams

BRENHAM — Services for Alida Cordes Williams, 90, of Brenham are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church of Gay Hill.
The Rev. Virgil Pecht will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mrs. Williams died Saturday in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham.
She was born in Fayetteville and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, the WELCA, the Women’s Auxiliary of Gay Hill, Mound Hill and Cedar Hill Volunteer Fire Department and was a past member of the Extension Homemakers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph A. Williams.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Newton and Doris Williams of Houston and Jack and Judy Williams of North Little Rock, Ark.; a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Thomas Campbell of Brenham; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Walter G. Kitchens

Walter G. Kitchens, 70, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2002, in Bryan. Walter was born July 31, 1932 in Hillsboro, Texas to Luther D. and Bertha Whitaker Kitchens. He grew up in Whitney and later moved to Bryan in 1967.
He was a machinist for the Texas Engineering Extension Service at Texas A&M University and retired in 1993, after 27 years of service. Among his many talents, Walter was also a roofer and specialized in wood shingle roofs. He enjoyed hunting and ranching and will be remembered for his love of country music, dancing, and a willingness to help others.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roy G. and Janet Kitchens of Houston, John W. Kitchens of Bryan; two daughters, Rita Kay Vernon of Bryan and Kathleen Lauw of Willis; a brother, Bill Kitchens of Sacramento, CA; four sisters, Lola Taylor and Helen Hunt both of Sacramento, and Margie Putman and Marie Bobbett both of Houston; seven grandchildren, Rickey Vernon, Jr. of Bryan, Catherine Plymell of Engleside, Brandon Kitchens of Dallas, Kevin Kitchens of Bryan, Michael Kitchens and Matthew Kitchens both of Houston and Daniel Lauw of Willis; and three great-grandchildren, Phillip and Ashlyn Plymell of Engleside and Blake Kitchens of Houston. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Frank, Leslie and Johnny Kitchens.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, December 24, 2002, in the Callaway-Jones Chapel with the Rev. Joel Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in Restever Memorial Park in Bryan, with his grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, love and support during this time.
