Services for Ruth V. Cumings, 75, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.
Mrs. Cumings died Tuesday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Baltimore, Md., and lived in College Station 20 years. She was a homemaker and volunteered with Hospice Brazos Valley and Meals on Wheels. She also lived in Saudi Arabia and Nigeria for many years.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Cumings.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Cumings of College Station; a son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Sue Cumings of Midland; a daughter, Lydia Cumings of Bryan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Mary Alice Hansen of Tofte, Minn., and George and Judy Hansen of Baltimore; two grandchildren; two nieces; and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 205 East 29th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803.
Jo Nell Prastik Hunt

BRENHAM Services for Jo Nell Prastik Hunt, 73, of Brenham are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Brenham.
The Revs. Wesley Wellborn and Fred Trevino will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mrs. Hunt died Wednesday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Sugar Land and lived in Brenham since 1991. She graduated from Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated High School and Wharton County Junior College. She lived in Houston 29 years prior to moving to Brenham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Dale Hunt, and two step-sons, James Hunt and Gregory Hunt.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Hunt of Simonton, Christopher and Karen Hunt of Kanehoe, Hawaii, and Milton Hunt of Houston; a daughter, Kathleen Hunt of Brenham; a brother, James Prastik of Naples, Fla.; a sister, Patricia Kennedy of Houston; four grandchildren; two nieces; a nephew; an aunt; an uncle; and two cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Brenham.
Lawrence Elmer Taylor

Graveside services for Lawrence Elmer Taylor, 86, of Bryan will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Giradeau, Mo., at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Taylor died Thursday at his home.
He was born in Calla, Ky., and lived in Bryan 14 years. He was a retired warehouseman and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Anita Gerecke and Francis Rieg.
Survivors include a son, John L. Taylor of Bryan; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Karen S. Taylor and Sara M. and Bryan E. Williams, all of Bryan, and Shirlee and Bob Lane of Monticello, Ind.; and four brothers, Dean Taylor and Cecil Taylor, both of Wright City, Mo., Ray Taylor of Ozark, Mo., and June Taylor of St. Louis, Mo.

ROCKDALE Graveside services for Sarah Mason, 97, of Rockdale are set for 11 a.m. Monday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.
Kenneth Holley, her great-grandson, will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Mrs. Mason died Saturday at the Manor Oaks Nursing Center in Rockdale.
She was born in the Salty community and lived in Rockdale 46 years. She was a homemaker and attended the Methodist Church in Salty as a child.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.M. Jack Mason.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Mason of San Antonio; two daughters, Mildred Kasner of Marlin and Dorothy Conoley of West; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
James Paul Odom

Graveside services for James Paul Odom, 52, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the College Station Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mr. Odom died Wednesday at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was a dental technician and president of the Bryan Dental Lab, Inc. He was a member of the National Association of Dental Laboratories. He was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan and attended Sam Houston State University and Texas A&M University. He was a Protestant.
Survivors include his mother, Doris Odom of Bryan; and a brother, Pete Odom of Millican.
Blanche Estelle Freeman

NAVASOTA Services for Blanche Estelle Freeman, 85, formerly of Bedias are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bedias Baptist Church.
The Rev. Jerald Brown of the Bedias Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m., at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
Mrs. Freeman died Sunday in Madisonville.
She was born in Orange and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bedias Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many years. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney William Freeman; and a son, Sidney Lynn Freeman.
Survivors include a sister, Vivian Coody of Willis; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ms. Maloy died Wednesday at Manor Oaks Nursing Home in Rockdale.
She was born in Lee County and grew up in the Tanglewood area. She lived most of her life in Rockdale. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church in Rockdale.
Survivors include two brothers, Roger Maloy of Denver, Colo., and Walter Maloy of Houston; a sister, Clementine Johnson of Denver; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Gladys McNair

MADISONVILLE Services for Gladys McNair, 86, of North Zulch are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Willowhole Chapel in North Zulch.
The Rev. Dick White will officiate. Burial will be in the Willowhole Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Madisonville Funeral Home.
Mrs. McNair died Saturday in the College Station Medical Center.
She was born in North Zulch and formerly lived in Houston where she worked as a bookkeeper for a poultry company. She returned to Madison County and worked for J.R. Burtis Drug Store for eight years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Madisonville and was a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McNair.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Connie Cohn of Huntsville and Kathy and John Mieseler of North Zulch; four sisters, Estelle Eastland of Victoria, Lois Lee of Houston, Mavis Tanner of Rosenberg and Ruth Brady of Katy; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
