MELBOURNE, Fla. — Graveside services for Raymond H. Lock of Melbourne, are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Bryan City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home in Palm Bay, Fla.
Mr. Lock died Saturday in Melbourne.
He was born in Cerra Gorda, Iowa, and served in the U.S. Air Force for 29 years. He retired as a lieutenant colonel.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Lock; a son, James R. Lock of College Station; a daughter, Patricia Jones of Belton, S.C.; two stepsons, Morris H. Hollis of Palm Bay, Fla., and Glen McCarty of Dothan, Ala.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Wallace I. Weaver
March 16, 1919 — Feb. 17, 2003
TEMPLE — Services for Wallace I. Weaver, 83, of Lexington and formerly of Houston are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Lexington Faith Temple in Lexington.
Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. The Revs. David Harkreader and Jim Moore will officiate.
Mr. Weaver died Monday at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
He was born in Waller County and was a graduate of Waller High School. He had lived in Lexington since 1953 and was formerly of Houston. He was a funeral director with McWilliams Funeral Home in Waller and then Pat. H. Foley Funeral Home in Houston.
Mr. Weaver also was a fruit inspector for the U.S. Agriculture Department and a member of Faith Temple in Lexington. He belonged to the Disabled American Veterans and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army as a corporal.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Weaver of Lexington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Wayne Jones and Pat and Billy Buetow, all of Lexington; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Jo Ann Frazier Curtis Laningham
March 16, 1930 - Feb. 18, 2003
IRVING — Graveside services for Jo Ann Frazier Curtis Laningham, 72, of Irving, are set for 1 p.m. Friday at Bryan City Cemetery.
The Rev. Tim Skaggs of Central Baptist Church will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.
Mrs. Laningham died Tuesday at her home.
She was born in Fort Worth and grew up in Bryan, where she graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cullen Frazier.
Survivors include her husband, Garland Laningham of Irving; seven sons and daughters-in-law, Rick Frazier, Scott and Joannie Frazier, David Frazier, Sam and Karol Frazier, Bob and Marilyn Laningham, Don and Gayle Laningham and Brad Laningham; a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Tom McCrea; a sister and brother-in-law, Cecelia and George Shearer; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Peggy Curtis and Mike and Rita Curtis; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Frances Patranella Bland

PEARLAND — Funeral services for Frances Patranella Bland, 90, of Pearland were held Wednesday at Broussard’s Mortuary in Beaumont. Burial was at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bryan. A rosary was recited Tuesday evening at the mortuary.
Mrs. Bland died Sunday at Windsong Village Convalescent Center.
A native of Bryan, Mrs. Bland had moved to Beaumont in 1955 and then to Pearland in 2002.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph F. Patranella, Frank Barbeara and Raymond Bland.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gerald L. and Mary Patranella of Pearland; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia D. and Lyle Seefeldt of Wilson, N.Y.; a sister, Mary Giardina of Floresville; a daughter-in-law, Linda Patranella of Bevil Oaks; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Lillie Mae Hogan

Services for Lillie Mae Hogan, 97, of Bryan are set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Granite Church of Christ in Granite, Okla.
Ken Hamilton and Ward Haliburton will officiate. Burial will be in the Granite City Cemetery.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Oklahoma arrangements by People’s Funeral Home in Lone Wolf, Okla.
Mrs. Hogan died Wednesday at her home.
She was born in Cumberland County, Ky.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Hogan of Bryan, Edward Hogan of Bethany, Okla., and Henry Hogan of Rockwall; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Heather Lang

Services for Heather Lang, 24, of Lohn are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. Burial will be in the Bryan City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to service time Friday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
Miss Lang died Wednesday at College Station Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of the Brazos Valley and a member of First Baptist Church in Lohn. Survivors include her parents, Elmer and Linda Lang Jr. of Lohn; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer N. Lang III and wife Lena of Aransas Pass and Jeremy D. Lang and wife Carlie of Dixon, Ill.; and her grandparents, Carroe Mae Russell of Bryan and Norris and Dorothy Carnes of Bryan.
Memorials may be made to the Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center.
Franklin Dennis ‘Bull’ Fuqua

NAVASOTA — Services for Franklin Dennis “Bull” Fuqua, 50, of Navasota are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
The Rev. Henry Sanders of Faith Outreach Christian Center will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday at Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Fuqua died Monday at his home.
A lifelong resident of Navasota, Mr. Fuqua was a forklift operator and had served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, Jonathon and Paul Fuqua, both of Kerens; a sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Dave Brewer of Navasota; and his mother, Helen Fuqua of Navasota.
Jane Esther Slisher

A memorial services will be held at a later date for Jane Esther Slisher, 68, of College Station.

Mrs. Slisher died Wednesday at her home.
She was born in Gary, Ind., and had lived in College Station since 2000, moving from West Fork, Ark. She attended Covenant Presbyterian Church in College Station.
Survivors include her husband, Charles H. Slisher of College Station; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Debra Slisher of Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Bill Donaldson of Carmel, Ind., Julie and Jeffrey Osburn of Powell, Ind.; and nine grandchildren.
Lucille Stakes Peterson

BRENHAM — Services for Lucille Stakes Peterson, 95, of Brenham are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mike Rod will officiate. Burial will be in the Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Peterson died Wednesday.
She was born in Maxie, La., and was a retired nurse from Danforth Hospital in Texas City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Peterson. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and James Carstarphen of Brenham; a sister and brother-in-law, Anna Lee and Jo Matthews of Mount Belview; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Marie Hillin Buetow

HOUSTON — Services for Marie Hillin Buetow, 85, of Houston and formerly of Rockdale are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Mrs. Buetow died Tuesday at Winchester Lodge Nursing Home in Brazoria.
She was born in Milam County and had lived in Houston since 1968. She was an oncology nurse in the Methodist Hospital in Houston before her retirement in 1982.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Buetow.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Pat Buetow of Lexington; three daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn and Frank Boyd of Alvin, Pat and Tom Wheeler of Houston and Linda Woods of Danbury; a son-in-law, Gene Carpenter of Danbury; a sister, Alice Williams of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.Death Notice
